my Mom was in hospital 2 weeks ago with congestive heart failure. the docs said they caught it in time and were able to remove the fluid build up in lungs and around her heart. she has had problems with heart rhythm since getting out of the hospital. went in as out-patient yesterday to have them shock her heart into rhythm. they stopped and restarted her heart and rhythm was established that looked fine. hour and a half later, as she was getting ready to have all the monitors removed so she could go home, her heart almost stopped. they got her stabilized, finally, but she is still in coronary intensive care unit, with a heart rate that is above 120 beats a minute. still waiting to hear from doctors about what else can be done, as they don't want to install a pace maker because of her other health problems.she is 77, and that may be a factor they are looking at too. would really appreciate it if you could find time to say a few words of prayer for her,and i know that God answers prayer! i'm 4 1/2 hrs away, and unable at this time to go to her, so that's gotten to me also. thanks in advance-will let you know what happens--Bill
