Default Gold For The New Jewish Temple

How Close are We to the Return of Messiah Ben David ?

West Papua Delegation Donates Gold For Holy Temple

26 Tishrei 5768, 08 October 07 11:37by Ezra HaLevi
(IsraelNN.com) On Wednesday, the last day of the Sukkot festival, a 34-person delegation from West Papua presented a large amount of gold to be used in the building of the Holy Temple.

The delegation, including representatives of the nation"s government, explained that they study the Bible regularly and recently came upon a verse in Zecharia (6:16) reading "And the distant ones will come and build the Temple of G-d." They discussed the passage among themselves and decided that their faith obligates them to fulfill the verse.
West Papua, located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean,is rich in gold mines, so the delegation thought it natural to donate gold for the Holy Temple. The Holy Temple will be built in the place where the First and Second Temples once stood " on Jerusalem"s Temple Mount.

The group heard of the Temple Institute in Israel, which deals with advancing the building of the Temple, and on Hoshana Raba - the 7th day of Sukkot - the delegation arrived at the Institute's headquarters in Jerusalem"s Old City and presented the gold to Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, a founder of the institute, and Yehuda Glick, its director.
The group presented a kilogram of gold and a large sum of money. They requested that the gold be used to construct vessels for the Temple and that the funds be used by the institute for any purpose it sees fit. The institute has a fund set aside for exclusive use for the actual construction of the temple, as well as funds for building the vessels and engaging in educational projects. Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute and Israel National Radio, said that, in view of the Halakhic problems that could be caused by specifically consecrating money and gold for the Holy Temple, an escrow accountwas opened, as was a safe deposit box for all donations; both have been explicitly set aside for use in building the Temple, and will remain untouched until then.
Rabbi Ariel said the episode was emotional as

it constituted the fulfillment of the words of the prophets that nations will come from afar to help build the House of G-d in Jerusalem. "There is no doubt that this is a sign that the rest of our prophets" prophecies will soon be fulfilled as well."
Delegation members said that although this is their first contribution for the Temple, it will certainly not be their last. "They said that in Papua there are fine trees that they hope to one day bring aboard a ship to Israel in order to be used in the building of the Holy Temple," the rabbi said.%ad%
The Temple Institute was established twenty years ago, and deals with research and education about the Holy Temple. The institute has published dozens of books and has prepared more than 70 of the gold, silver and copper vessels needed for Temple service.
Just two weeks ago, the institute completed a large "King David"s Lyre." Its craftsmen are working now on the golden headpiece worn by the high priest.
Some of the vessels prepared by the institute for use in the Temple include the golden menorah (candelabrum), the show-bread table, the golden altar, Levite musical instruments and priestly clothes. The vessels are on display at the institute's headquarters on the Old City"s Misgav Ladach street.

Alex,
1.When I was there they were not sure where they were goingto build the new temple..do they have a place yet?

2. Alex, who is goingto build the new temple..Islam or the Jews ?
I'm thinking Jews but I'm not up to these things as you are..

It does fit into my studies though..when Christ shall come back. I beleive the anti Christ must rule/ defile a temple..a temple must be built..then Christians shall be persecuted beyond measure {Rev. 13} then when enough is enough {Martyrs who have been killed for refusing the mark} crying out for Christto come back..then He shall appear with his saints on horses from on high. Then THE Battle of all ages will take place..Armegeddon.

The building of the temple is a huge landmark in the events to come.

My advice is read Matthew chapter 24, closely. Often the first several verses are used as "proof" of signs of the end of time, but according to verse 34 these things (including the worst tribulation ever--past, present, or future--verse 21) have already passed. If they have not already past, there is a generation still living that is over 2,000 years old (verse 34).

Starting with verse 36, Christ makes it clear that no man, not even the angles know when He will return. The apostles didn't know, the angles don't know, Christ said we won't know,so how could any human predict it?

I understand your stance on this Chad..so I won't try to persuafe you otherwise except to say...no one is predicting a "Day" but rather a season." Jesus said ,

Matt.32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

The highlighted words are showing us that Christ is telling his disciples to be observant. Chad many of these thing shave not happened yet that were prophesied in Ezekial, Daniel Matt. and Luke..
I'll list a few. No one is naming a day..but simply Jesus said when ye see these things he is at the door.

1/3 of fresh water polluted.

The dead sea full of living fish

Moses and Elijah {The 2 witnesses} ..being killed and raising from the dead.

A ruler in Rev. 13 causing all to take the Mark of the Beast and then killing those who don't

Battle of Armegeddon

Stars falling from heaven and the moon turning to blood. and such fear from all of this tha tmen are begging the rocks ot fall on them.

1/3 of all the trees to be burned

Locust flying around stinging folks who have recieved the mark

The common market and a one world money system,,the Mark.

Yes in 70 AD there was similiar persecution under Nero but Jesus said this will be a greater persecution than the world has ever witnessed.

Chuck, I appreciate the civility you always show, and I will do my best to return the favor.

Like I've said before, I don't claim to know all the answers, but I can't see how it could be much clearer concerning Matthew 24. Christ said there would be no worse tribulation that this one, ever (verse 21) He also said that it would happen before that generation had passed (verse 34). Based on that, it's either already happened, or we have people walking around that are over 2,000 years old. Even if that were the case, it would make no sense for Christ to speak deceptively like that--nobody would expect a generation to live that long.

Matthew 24 also says His return will be like a theif in the night. Can anyone predict what "season" a theif will come?

Looking forward to it Chuck!

A few more things to consider from Matthew 24........

If Christ is indeed talking about the end of time and/or His return:

What purpose would it serve to flee to the mountains? verse 16 Nobody can hide from the judgement.

Why would anyone care to return to their homes for anything? verses 17, 18

Why would He say it would be harder on pregnant women, andwomen with small children?(them that give suck--an innocent child would not be around for this) verse 19

What difference would it make if it comes during the winter, or on the Sabbath day? verse 20
