We are doing another next week...one of the best things is the smell it leaves in your home..Actually it is a roast beef recipe...I had my wife try the venison ..I was surprized it was moist but it should..the vinegar base in those Greek peppers acts as a tenderizer.
Chuck-your recipe turned out just great. I served it on those white corn tortillas I mentioned with a side salad of grapes, orange slices and mixed berries.
We did say the blessing before we ate so I think we can fit this in the religion forum.

Glad to hear that,
Not only that..the deer was a real blessing. Another member on here sent a deer to my house by UPS. ..Strut....I've never had that happen before. I'm glad your roast turned out good. I'm cooking the remainder roast like that as well.
Thanks for the heads up.

Looks great except for the bread ( I'm on a diet, lost 20 pound in two weeks)... I cooked up some back strap steaks on that little buck I got last last week, it was awesome.
I cut up all my meat except for the loin, I make steaks out of that. I make sausage, stews and chili out out venison.
I'll have to try your recipe out.
Hey congrats on the buck Rev..That's awesome man.I've got a hook up on private property near Alabama...I hope I get one too.Nov. 2 nd and 3rd.

Thanks Chuck. I have an Axis hunt coming up in this or next month. I have to work out all the details.. I hope to get one of those, they are excellent tasting meat, not to mention the hide will look good on the wall.
