Another week has passed and we are that much closer to his coming for his bride..Glory to God! please keep in mind all those who are in need of prayer, especially the one's who are lost and without a Saviour..I have attended 3 funerals in the last few weeks, the youngest 37 and the oldest 82, so we never know when our time will come..Be ready..
Father thank you for another opportunty to share your precious Word..please give us receptive hearts and might we let the Holy Spirit guide us in what we do,,in Jesus name i pray Amen..
17 And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;
18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
20 And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live. Acts 22:17-22 kjv.
Many us of have done things we are ashamed of and some of the things done would really be called really bad. But none of us have been in the position that Paul was in with regards to hounding the church and being responsible for and agreeing to the deaths of fellow believers. Paul was there for the death of Stephen and was responsible for handing over many to be placed in prison. Yet in spite of all of those actions, God had a place for Paul in the scheme of getting the Word of God out to a lost and dying world. We each have at one time or another either thought or said, I am so bad and I don't know if God can forgive me?. Satan wants us to believe that God cannot forgive, yet here we have Paul, who did all these terrible things, got saved and became a great man of God and one of the greatest preachers of all time, in my opinion.. we need to allow God's Spirit to speak to our heart and allow the Spirit to reveal what is wrong and then confess it and go with God. Don't linger and don't stay there, but follow God on the path He has for you! Trust Him to give you peace and His forgiveness. there is no sin that God will not forgive if you only trust and believe in Him..you know words can hurt so we need to watch what we say about one another..I know there have been times when i have gotten carried away and said things i later regretted.i learned a long time ago that it takes a big man to admit he was wrong..We see many places in Scripture that we should watch what we say and how much we say. In a multitude of words there can be problems. We need to talk with one another, but too often we say more than we should. Again the Word tells us that for each word we speak we will answer for. To just spill words out and not realize that we are to be salt and light to those we come in contact with. If we are asked to share, then allow the Spirit of God to speak through you. Again we see in Scripture, that we are not to be concerned about the words we are to share if we are following Him, He will provide the words we are to share. This does not mean we are not to study, meditate and pray upon the Word, but we are to dependent upon the Spirit of God to speak the words of Life that bring individuals from death into life.
Thank you again Father for the truths of thy precious
Word and may it be a blessing to those who read it.. and Father if there is one here that is lost may this be the day of their salvation..we thank fo rall you have done and for what you will do in Jesus name Amen..
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.
Refrain
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary.
By God's Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I'd spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Cavary
.
Now I've given to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my King,
Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary!
Oh, the love that drew salvation's plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!
Refrain
