My internet is superslow so it only gives me like 2 secs. at a time and then I have to wait 20 more to get 2 more secs. but the bit of it I did hear sounded pretty good. Of course I didn't get any lyrics though.

Where is Mike's? I have a Bartow address, but live smack dab between Bartow, Lake Wales and Winter Haven.

Mike's is close to 98 and 60 ..right beside Mc Donalds and kentucky Fried. Mike's is on the right hnd side of 98 heding toward Lakeland. They open up early for all the police officers about 4L30 AM .Their omelots hang over the plates and their prices are very good. I always get the steak and eggs.

Do you hunt at a Wild life Management Area?? I use to teach in Bartow for 4 years. I live upi 98 and then a 1/2 mile off of 98. We used to shop at the super Walmart in Bartow until they built one in Auburndale. Do you go to church in Bartow?

By the way..welcome to Hunting.net.

Now I remember seeing it. I will have to check it out sometime. It looks like my kind of place.

I have been in the area for about 2 years and a half(from Manatee county). We live just off of 60 right in between Bartow and Lake Wales. I have hunted just a few times at 3 Lakes in Osceola. My brother's in laws have ranch in Frostproof that am able to hunt with him on. Only problem is finding time to do it(work, family, church, I am taking more college classes, etc...) LOL. My family has a little place in Ocala and we hope to hunt a little more this year there. I am really back into hunting now these last5 or 6years after a long layoff.

I have bow and gun and will hunt anywhere

We go to church in Frostproof at Emmanual Baptist(I don't consider myself a baptist, but that is where God has me now. A story for another day )

And thanks for the welcome!

With government pressure the school work loads have nearly doubled.I feel for ya. I hunted Kicco last year. Since it was my first time I didn't do to good. I saw turkeys and one doe .This was during Blackpowder.Kicco is in River Ranch just past the guard shack. My family has a little place in Ocala and we hope to hunt a little more this year there. I am really back into hunting now these last5 or 6years after a long layoff. I hear ya.When I first moved here I stopped hunting for over 10 years. I was 6 years in college. I got 2 magors and a minor. Bible, Eduction and Music.
I have bow and gun and will hunt anywhere I hope we can get todether some day .I'd love to meet you.

I hear ya..I simply look for the fruit in deciding where to go to a church..I can tolerate most denonminations ..
And thanks for the welcome!

My wife and I looked at a home last year in Indian Lakes Estates...not too far from Frost proof. I've got a small boat and some very good fishing spots if your ever in Lakeland..for big bass, crappie and bluegills. If you ever want to check out the Green Swamp. You can drive to my house in Lakeland and ride up with me. I'm only 10 miles up 98 once you get off 60. You can see 98 from my house.

God bless,
Chuck7
Most sportsmen stop at Mikes. It's been owned and run by an Italian family for eons...good home cooked meals with great portions.

I got my edjumacationfrom Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. Major in Bible. Now taking classes at Webber in Babson park for accounting. My brother is a CPA and we have a firm together. I have not hunted RR but have not heard alot of good about it. Namely too many people hunting there and boogering up the woods.

Yes, lets get together sometimeas I am always happy to meet another Brother in Christ. I would like to go check out Green Swamp sometime. Let me know if you are going some time and need company to scoutor help dragging a stand in or something. I have heard there is good hunting in there if you know where to go and can get away from the crowds.

If you bought a home in Indian Lakes, you would be about 30 to 45 minutes from 3 Lakes depending on what entrance you used. I did see 2 deerand a hog when I hunted one afternoon there last year.

Have a great day and God Bless,
Steve
