Gods job for me?

I will be graduating in the spring with degree in engineering. I am starting to think I dont want to get a job in engineering for many reasons. I want to basically just farm the rest of my life. I was listening to a christian radio station today they were talking about jobs. The guy talking was saying every job we have should be a gift from God. Farming is my passion its what makes me happy. What should I do? I know what I want to do but whats Gods plan for me.

Then Fred...by all means farm. Fred...I make big bucks right now..I've been seriously thinking about quitting and taking a 'Normal job." The stress is not worth the 'Big bucks'. My wife already has to do most of my work...teaching has gone mostly to technology now..{Way over my head}andwe are not allowedto senf kids ot the office. Kids can run around the room and screem if they want..it's a nut house.I'm taking one year at a time and serously thinking about being a janitor next year..Your happiness means alot. They put a huge amount of work on you and all work MUST be done after school on your own time..not during the work hours. OPne teacher yesterday was in tears.I've come up wiht a plan to help her to day..My friend..stay on the farm.Happiness is priceless.

The Word says "Whatsoever your hand finds to do..do it." as unto the Lord." We certainly need farms.We have one dairy farm in our entire county.

I'm not sure what kind of farming you do, but alot of farming can be done after hours. I'd have a hard time giving up a job I'd worked so hard for before trying at least.

WE have family Bible time every morning.With that said I need to repent for my former post. The Lord reminded me that my teaching is a calling. It wouldn't matter if I was being paid 5 dollars or 50 dollars an hour. It's where He has called me to be..and I need to have a Christlije attitude with the goings rough or easy..I apologize fo rcomplaining in my above post..it does pay well but I honestly am there because God has called me to be there.TO run and be a janitior would be pulling a 'Jonah' ..and I don't want to be swallowed up by a big fish.

I see what you are saying chuck. I just cant see myself fighting traffic every day, having to listen to some boss tell me what to do, working with people, being all clean cut going to work. None of that is me. As of now dont have a engineering job I just cant see myself doing that 5 days a week. When I am on the farm I am smiling most of the time. Yeah farming has its draw backs to. With dairy have to be there almost 24/7. Which dont mind most of the time. Other then that thats the only real problem I have. I havent had many other jobs besides the farm work, but the ones I did have didnt feel like had peace with God there.
