I am sure many of you have thought about once we leave this earthly life. Its scary to think about it. Either place we go will be there forever. It makes you stop and think all this stuff around me wont matter to me once I die.

I have thought about this many times. Here is what I think, we get homesick. This earth is not our temporary home, we are here but for a short time, visitors if you will. I was once asked why do we surround ourselves with things that are beautiful to us. The answer we are longing for heaven-the most beautiful place. I am at a place in my walk right now that if God said your time is today-Hallelujah-if not Hallelujah. I long for heaven but I am content to stay here until God says your time is done. I have a husband and 3 children but I know when it is my time God will provide for them, He has and will continue whether I am here or not. So for now my focus needs to be God what is your will for me today right now? I hope this makes sense.
Life on earth is very short thats for one thing. Once we die God is in control of where we go from there. If we go to hell we are stuck there for life. Makes you think I should do whats right here now so I can get into heaven. Many things here on earth we can get out of, but not that. Also makes you think should just life up life as long its morally right.

What you are experiencing is God fearing and that is wonderful thing to have as a Christian. If we do not fear God what will motivate us to stay on the straight and narrow?
what a wonderful and glorious day that will be when God calls me home..yes i know where i am going as i have made my reservation in Heaven when i accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour..I am not afraid of dying as i have that peace that passeth all understanding that can only come from God throught Jesus ChristThe Son..Glory to God..
even so come quickly Lor Jesus!!!
