Howdy ya'll, welcome to our service and i hope you are all well and expecting a bless from God.. I know there are some in the need of prayer so let's pray for one another..God does hear and answer prayer.Amen..I know He has taken care of me for many years..as some of you know i am 78 and i have had cancer for 7 years and both upper valves of my heart are bad and my kidney function is down to 50% but please don't feel sorry for me, just pray that what time i have left will be spent preaching the gospel..we serve a wonderful Saviour and rejoice in the fact that those of us who know Him as our Lord and Saviour will spend eternity in tha wonderful place He has prepared for ..PRAISE THE LORD..
Father thank you for your love and mercy and your long suffering and thank you for Calvary where your only Begotten Son gave his life that we might have life eternal.. may your sweet Holy Spirit work in the lives of us this morning and that we may receive a blessing from thy Word..in Jesus name and for his sake i pray, Amen

17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20 Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21 There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. Proverbs 12:16-22 kjv.
As I was reading Proverbs 12 today, I noticed all the contrasts that the writer was placing in this chapter. All the verses except the last verse, contrast the wicked verses the righteous. there is but one path for us to walk,"Jesus said, I AM THE WAY, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me." that means we are not to stray away from the right path by spending time in evil places..some say, "I only told a little white lie", well you are a liar as there is no litlle sin..some say well i went into this bar but only had a few beers..but what if when you came out a lost friend saw you, what kind of a witness would you be, avery poor one i'd say..some would say that an extra marital affair is good for their marriage..don't tell my wife that..Ah yes, the path of sin will take you a lot farther than you want to go, and cost you alot more than you want pay, and keep you a lot longer than you want to stay.. The Bibles says in Rev. 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. these are the lost people.. "but my friend don't stop reading their, go to 1 corin.6:9-11 in verse 11 Jesus says,"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." so there will be such in heaven because God is a loving God and wants all to be saved.."Whosoeveer shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." David was a liar, adulterer and a murderer, Moses was a murderer, Samson was a murderer and a fornicator..they are all in Heaven, so don't let anyone tell you your sins will keep you out of heaven..it's unbelief that sends you to hell.. but then on the brighter side, the one who walks the path of God and desires to honor Him, will have a completely different outlook on life and as things unfold before them, they do not blow up with words and anger toward God, but understand that the path of the righteous has many turns and bends in it. But for the one who trusts God, they know that end of the path is what we are after. It is not today or tomorrow, but it is what goes on as we walk this path called life. For the one who walks with God, it is not an easy path, though we read verse 21 above, you would think that once one comes to God that it is an easy path. No, that is not what the verse is saying, but since our citizenship is not here, but we are just sojourners here until God brings us home. There are many rough patches on this road called life, but for the one who has put their trust in Jesus, then it is worth it all. If the Son fo God was willing to lay down His Life that we might truly have Life, then what are a few bumps in the road for His Children. We must be prepared and this is a moment by moment walk with God. Allow the Spirit of God to speak to your heart and may God be honored in all that we do.Have a great week-end and tell someone about Jesus!
Father thanks again for your precious Word and may we live by what it tells us to do and always be a good witness for you..and Father if there is one here today that has fallen by the wayside and sin has beset them, may they like the prodigal son, come to their senses andcome back to the Father's house..and as always if there are lost ones here tofday, may this be their day of salvatio..in Jesus sweet and precious name i pray amen..
