Default Michael Vick coverage

It pisses me off how the media gives so much attention to this story. I agree that it is wrong to fight and harm these dogs for their evil pleasure. Why don't we hear about the evil doctor at the abortion clinic murdering God's precious babies. How terrible that is and the punishment they deserve. Talk about swallowing a camel and choking on a knat. Unbelievers wonder why a loving God is going to send a evil unrepented people to hell. Justice is why.

biscuit; I also believe That what went on here was wrong, but I also know that PETA and some of those who are pushing and stirring the pot, are involved in a religion that worships and places animals above humans in worth and value. Man is the cause of all evil and the world would be without problems if mankind was eliminated according to them. I have yet to see just one of them tear their house down, walk into the wilderness and forsake all the evil that mankind has brought upon the earth. They are quick to buy cars, fly on planes, ships, trains and add their share of pollution into the air and water. They are concerned that modern water treatment plants will be detremental to those in Africa. Taking thousands of dollars worth of bottled water with them when they go to protest building a water treatment plant. Killing unborn babies is a womans right of choice, but God became a sinner when he slew an animal to cloth Adam. All this Vick story is about is laying another stone in the road to stop all hunting, trapping, fishing, eating meat, and anything that would result in the death of an animal. Animals are their "gods".

That's exactly what I was saying today to some one... You can kill a baby, but good gosh, don't hurt a dog, or a tree, then the whole world will come down on ya.

I have been saying and thinking the same thing. It is sooo hypocritical for those who fight for the right to take a baby's life in the name of 'freedom', and yet to come across so sanctimonious and self righteous over a dog. What he did was cruel--animal cruelty. But murdering one baby outweighs the total poulation of dogs on planet earth. Shameful. 2 entirely diferent planes of severity. Our society is in deep trouble when we are so bass ackwards in our value system.

This is spooky because these figures were from 1997

In 1997, 1,184,758 abortions were reported to the CDC. The majority of the women were white and unmarried. This would average approximately 3,245 abortions every day in America. The total number of abortions in America from 1972 through 1999 was approximately 33,061,034, with 586,760 being reported in 1972. Throughout the world, the total number would be many times more. It is now legal to abort a baby in America through the 9th month of pregnancy (God forbid).

Just image the outrage if it had been dogs!

My father is one of those "evil doctors" that you keep refering to, and I don't appreciate you putting him down like that. Where in the Bible does ity condemn abortion? you are nothing more then an ignorant hate-monger!

The pregnant mother entered the Doctors office and explained to the doctor that she had three children already and couldn't afford or handle four children. The doctor asked her what she wanted him to do about the situation. The mother said an abortion was the answer. The doctor left the room and quickly returned with a knife and handed it to the mother who questioned, what am I to do with this? The doctor replied, this will allow you to save a lot of money, just kill one of the older three, the only difference is the age.

What does God say about the life and personhood of a fetus? People have worth and identity before they are born. It's in the Bible, Jeremiah 1:5, . "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
God is at work in a person's life while he is in the womb. It's in the Bible, Psalm 139:13-14, . "For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
God's commandment forbids the taking of life. It's in the Bible, Exodus 20:13, . "You shall not murder."

Sorry to hear about your dad, bro. If it makes you feel any better, I don't place as much blame on the doctor as I do the mother who decides to off her baby. It's one thing to take an innocent life, but when that life is growing inside you, that's a whole other ballgame.
