Default Consequences belong to man

I wrote this message several months ago for my website. I thought I would share it with you as we begin a new week.

Daniel 9: 9-10 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets.
Since the beginning of creation God has made it a point to inform His people of the laws He requires. Since the beginning of time man has broken every law God has set before him. The result of sin has caused much grief in man. We all know how beautiful the garden of Eden was and how man only had to eat from the garden God provided. God created a perfect and wonderful environment for man, however though mans disobedience hardship and travail were born.
It is no different today in our lives, the more we break God"™s laws the more hardship we endure. Yes, mercy and forgiveness belong to the Lord, but consequences belong unto man.
I know this isn"™t a very inspirational topic to begin the new week, but in reality it is! There is freedom and peace in a life of obedience to the Lord. In that obedience we find our sanctuary and our victory. God is such a wonderful and forgiving God, but He is also a righteous and just God. Let us begin this new week by allowing His Holy Spirit to guide and direct our every step in every avenue of lives

I've spent a lot of time considering consequences Bro Rev. It seems that for every action there is a reaction, and it seems to be part of God's order. Ranging anywhere from an outright thug to a growing christian that has'nt really developed charactor or integrity . . .for every sin there is a consequence tho one may have to look thru God's eyes to see it sometimes.
Likewise, being obediant to the Lord has consequences, sometimes it takes perspective to see these consequences as blessings. Being obediant isn't always instantly gratifying. . . . .but we can know instantly that if we're choosing God's way that we've made a right decision and the subsequent consequences will be a blessing .
Hope you don't see me as disagreeing, cause I don't . . .I've just grown to be mindful of consequences.

No disagreement seen bro Mac. Your right, every action must have a reaction, whether we like it or not.
