Default Heaven

What do you think Heaven will be like according to the Bible? Will we have tasks to perform for God? Will we have the option to do such things as fish?

Good question ...

I believe Heaven is for those who love God more than this present world. I beleive it will be for servants. We will be there to serve God and not ourselves. Love will remain forever therefore; there will be social activity going on.There will be a ranking system as we see some will be "Least " and some will be "Great " in the Kingdom of Heaven. There will be music in Heaven. We will see angels and a Kingdom made of preciaous stones. Holiness will be so great that there is no need for a sun, I do know in the 1000 year reign that the Dead Sea will have mor especies of fish than the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of the 1000 year millenean Satan will again tempt folks ....There will be eatting and drinking in Heaven.Wine will be served at the wedding table. We will know individuals because Jesus told some they would be weeping when they saw Abraham ,Issac and Jacob there and they are left out.

The Bible also speaks about "Then we shall see clear." but now we see dimmly"..so I would guess we would be learning as well from our patriarchs.
I'm not sure about any hurting of animals in Heaven. I would guess not. The lion shall lay down with the lamb ..There is no pain nor sorrow in Heaven ...not even for a fish.

I think we can only speculate on what heven will be like in that sense, the bible talks about "those outside the city" "differant mansions" "differant responsabilities" I dont want to open a differant can o worms here but, lets say someone has been truly born again, okay all his sins-past-presant-future are covered by the blood of Jesus,he`s going to heaven-he gets to heaven and still has to stand before God and give account for every idle word and be "judged" for his actions on earth after he accepted Christ,I can think of a few verses off hand that iterate this-I sure hope we are on a restored earth with deer, turkeys, bear, moose, maybe some dinosaurs! But that would pose another interesting question.....if we eat food at....say..."the feast" or anywhere else, will we be vegatarians? If we are to be killing animals, would we be in danger of being injured by a bear,I think not,I believe we will be vegatarians and live peacably with the animals

We can't even begin to fathom what heaven will be like. We can only understand withthis carnal mind.I can onlysay "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the hearts of men the things that God for those who love Him."
