Default I need to share a gold nugget I recieved.

When I looked into the mirror Iwas depressed...actually depressed alot. How bout fasting ..I have alot...still super depressed...no joy that last...life has gotten crappy...no matter how big the bass or how many..no matter how much money is in the bank or my wallet...no matter how nice and pretty the wife..I sought the Lord about this and my beloved He delivered me by a word from God's Word...It's in my signature..

The power of being content...I can look at me and be satisfied to know that God has made me. The Word says that contentment is GREAT gain..here are some awesome benenfits from contentment..

1. I no longer studder..why>> because I'm no longer worrying..

2. Since I no longer worry I no longer eat as much.

3. I no longer long for better things so ...A hamburger is fine who needs the steak....

4. The opposite of contentment is coveteousness ."Which is idolatry.."

My studdering has been so horrible lately I could hardly speak..When I prayed about my eatting and studdering he answered me..He said "Be content." Content people don't worry about what people think of them ..For God has not given us a Spirit of fear..that came from somewhere else...

This is such abreak through for me...The joy and peace is incredible..knowing gthat God loves me..I am content with my neighbors , the way my car runs..etc..Peace...is priceless.
Love you folks,
C7
Look in the mirror..God made and loves that person..Everything you need ..you have.

Amen Leaf ..

Also...Paul states..

11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Chuck , my friend. You and I have spoken on the phone, and you mentioned your stuttering to me. I was not aware of it, and it did not bother me in the least. I wanted, needed , to hearWHAT you had to say..... not the WAY you said it. But, still your stuttering was not bad.

I think of Mel Tillis, who stuttered except when he sang. Singing was the passion of his heart. You , Chuck, have the passion of Christ, as the passion of your heart. You spoke to me that day, and I felt Christs' love in you. Your words have power. Your words have kindness. Your words have Truth.

My friend, it matters not, how you say it. It only matters what you say and why you are saying it. You are a Child of God and a strong force in His Army. Believe not in yourself, but believe in Christ, who is in you.

Men in the Bible have many times said, " who am I to serve you Lord ", I have this problem or that problem, or these short-comings " . The Lord went on to use them in mighty ways.

From my own perspective, your speech bothered you - MUCH more than I noticed it, and I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you again.

Christs Love and Peace to you my brother.

God Bless

Michael,
That was a very encoiraging reply. Th following statement really hit me hard..

"Believe not in yourself, but believe in Christ, who is in you. "

Thanks so much Michael..and have a wonderful day.
