I know you all have seen birds in a cage and dogs in a pen..well they are captive and have hardly any freedom..I believe most Americans are like that in this wonderful land of freedom, that is America, a land where we have the liberty to go where we please, say what we want, believe what we wish, worship God as we want, yet many have chosen a life of bondage..yes, bound by the chains of sin..It doesn't matter how smart, powerful, wealthy, or famous the person, we are all bound by the same truth:"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Rom. 3:23
Jesus said in John 8,"I say unto you, whoever committeth sin, is a servant of sin..Ya know, we can live in a land of hardly any restrictions at all and still be a servant to the master of sin.. but Jesus goes on to say,"If the Son therefore shall make you free, you will be free indeed."John8:36
True freedom comes from Jesus and Jesus alone..I think of the Christians behind the bamboo curtain in China and those in prisons here in our great country, although they may suffer they have freedom that man does not give..Jesus offers liberty beyond the shackles, the prison bars, and the bitter enslavement of the sins of the world..Praise God no man is truly bound who's heart and soul are free..Jesus specializes setting the captive free..
maybe you are bound by the shackles of sin..what better day than today to find true freedom..accept Jesus, the author of freedom..God bless you all and have a safe fun day..and remember i love ya, but better yet God loves ya..
