Default Sunday's Sermonette

Good morning and happy holiday wednesday and i hope it will be a safe one..please remember our boys and girls in the service that they too will have a safe fourth of July..there are still some on the board that need our prayers so be in prayer for them..we are finally getting some much needed rain here in Central Florida and i thank God for that..

Father we do thank you for this another day you have given us and it is my prayer that those here today will receive a blessing from Thy Word.. thank for all you have done and what you will do and may we all draw closer to you.. In Jesus name and for his sake i pray, Amen..

22And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30I and my Father are one.
31Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
39Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
40And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
41And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
42And many believed on him there. John 10:22-42 kjv.

If i were to title this message, i would call it, "An unbelieving world."
you would do well to read the entire 10th chapter of John where it tells of some of his miracles in the early part of his ministry, turning the water into wine, healing the nobleman's son, healing the man at the pool of Bethesda, feeding the 5000,walking on the water,and healing the blind man..now these guys had been with Jesus when these miracles were performed but yet they did not know or believe He was the Christ..isn't that like the world today? oh yes millions say they believe there is a Christ, now this includes Christians, but they don't believe in the power of Jesus..you remember the man whose sonhad an evil spirit in him and he brought him to Jesus..
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."
how about you? do you believe that Jesus can do what He says He can do? or maybe you are afraid to step out on faith and put your complete trust in him..folks it's time to get off the fence and follow Jesus instead of the world..oh yes. you will not be welcome in most situations when you talk about Jesus but that's alright if you notice in our text today they wanted to stone my Saviour and later on they would crucify him on that old rugged cross..where they would drive those nails throught the feet that walked up and down the sandy, rocky shores of the sea of Galilee preaching the gospel and through those hands that never harmed anyone but with a word or a touch, healed the blind, the lame would walk and raise the dead..my dear friends we serve a wonderful Saviour.. won't you put your trust in him? He'll never fail you i promise you that..
the miracles of Jesus identified him as the Son of God, the Saviour who had come togive his life for the sins of the world.they were not magic tricks as many say,they were miracles of love and grace..Believe in God and you'll believe in miracles, believe in Jesus and you'll experience one.

Heavenly Father may thy precious Word touch hearts today and be a blessing to someone..and Father if there is one here today that is lost and hell bound may this be their day of salvation..in Jesus name i pray.

My Father is omnipotent
And that you can"™t deny;
A God of might and miracles;
'Tis written in the sky.

Chorus

It took a miracle to put the stars in place;
It took a miracle to hang the world in space.
But when He saved my soul,
Cleansed and made me whole,
It took a miracle of love and grace!

Though here His glory has been shown,
We still can"™t fully see
The wonders of His might, His throne;
'Till eternity.

The Bible tells us of His power
And wisdom all way through;
And every little bird and flower
Are testimonies too.

Chorus

It took a miracle to put the stars in place;
It took a miracle to hang the world in space.
But when He saved my soul,
Cleansed and made me whole,
It took a miracle of love and grace!
