Default god works werid ways

Tonight saw some thing on TV about this soldier. I turned on the TV in the middle of it so wasnt sure what happen for sure to him, but he was hurt really bad. He had to use computer screen to talk with people. It was pretty sad he has a wife and a kid. Why does it take things like this to think well my life isnt really that bad?

We should look (all the time) for things to be thankfull for " here " i think( every day)-because chances are things could be much worse.

We tend to think these( the various bad things in the world we live in)bad things willhappen to others only at times...... till we stop& think or till thses things hit closer to home- but we should tryput ourselfs in others shoes tho to allways to-because someday we just might find ourselfs in there shoes& situations to( or our loved ones)...and that could& wouldbe a bad day in the woods or at work.

I will pray for this young man& his family as i have been for the many others like him out there in like situations- it can not be easy for all involved&would be a understatement on my part.

I truthfully will sleep much better & i am greatly thankfull -beyond words -that my own son will be leaving the army after 8 yrs(with 4&1/2 overeas in 2 war zones) soon a whole young man who went in as a boy.

I know i have much much to be thankfull for myself "here' in this world& in life & the here& now- so much so...what else could i ask for?

( Does god work in weird ways? No doubt about it- but sometimes what i find even weirder is what some ppl claim are god ways tho too....( and no i dont mean you( just so you know)- because i dont know what your claiming as gods ways here)

Sometimes when we are going through what we feel is a rough patch we slide into a cycle of being self absorbed, or at least I do at times. Then God will tell me that I need to focus my thoughts on Him alone and trust in Him alone and He will get me through the storm. I see these setbacks of mine as more than set backs but a gift, my lesson or gift---------Compassion. God uses these to mold me into what He has willed in my life and I am very thankful to Him for these lessons of such pure love. At times He also uses situations like these to teach me to be content. I agree I do not understand the way God works so I have learned to ask God what He wants me to learn from it, and how can I use this wisdom to glorify Him. Hope this helps.
