In my opinion, John 14:1-6are some of thr greatest verses in the bible..
"1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'
What a wonderful place Heaven will be.and it is a place because Jesus says so twice in these verses and He also says that we will get to be there with him one day and i believe that with all my heart..then in verse 5 brother Thomas says, we don't know where you are going or how to get there..millions have asked that same question and Jesus gave the answer for all of us..

yes He went to the cross and died for all our sins and all we have to do is to believe, repent of our sins and ask him to come into our lives and save us and He will.. the Bible says, "Who so ever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
we need to be ready for no one knows the day or the hour that He's coming..God bless you all

I smiled when I read you post Bro. Wayne. I used that very verse today with my oldest Son Bob. He is fallen away from church and knows he has togetback in church.He was going to siminary and knows God, but every now and then I have to remind him how much Jesus loves him.
