Default Happy Fathers Day

Blessed is the man (dad) that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 KJV

Lord you call me blessed. And so I am. Call me your son again now, as I rest in your fatherly care this day. Plant me firmly in rich soil as I trust in you. Let my roots go out far and wide, so that I may stand tall as a man of faith in your world. Let my confidence in your Word grow deeper and higher as you ground me in your truth and establish me in your love. In Jesus name. Amen
Annonymous
Dear Lord place your loving hands on the fathers of this world and guide them in your paths, help them to safeguard their marriages and to teach their children about you Lord. Help them to be a light to their families and to the world. Everyday they walk out the door they step into the mission field and I pray you help them to Glorify your Name.
Amen.
Katrina

Sorry it's late we've been busy. I hope you all enjoyed your day!

I had one of, if not the best Father's days ever. My family and I spent the day together, and we had a great time just enjoying ourselves and the gifts and cards were very meaningful. I sat at church with my 2 oldest sons on my left and right, and the pastor spoke about the prodigal son and how his father dealt with each of the sons and the reaction of the son who had not strayed. He illustrated the Father's care for His sons, whether they are faithful or prodigal. The only negative was the news we received that I mentioned in the prayer request--but God is in control of that.

Good to hear. Our pastor was at confirmation camp and had just gotten back on Saturday, he normally prepares a sermon for it but this year didn't have time. He spoke of marriage and the assistant pastor prayed for the families, I have said a prayer on my own but just wanted to tell you that yesterday morning Doug was praying for your friends, so you have our congregations prayers. God is truly amazing.
