Default #3 David and Saul Question

Twice ..David could of easily killed Saul while Saul was sleeping in a cave..The first time David cut off a piece of Saul's robe and showed it to him..

What gesture did David do in the 2nd cave instance to show Saul thathe could have killed him?

Answer is somewhere in 1st Samuel.

Texas ,
I try to have a Bible study with my 16 year old every night. Many times I'm tired and he will remind me ..I have ot admit I've always read a few of those Old Tstament books really fast. Not this time...we are really gleaning all the nuggets. My wife is usually nearby as well and she gets involved as well. I'm learning alot. Studying David is neat because he is alot like us..filled with a love fro God and yet real human struggles as well.
c7
So far..he's been doing alot of running from God's anointed one King Saul.
It's amazing to me how much David respects this crazy king and calls him "God's anointed."

I have learned so much from reading the bible as well.I try to read my bible everyday as well as read one of my books. Right nowI am readingConfessions of a Pastor (Good book btw). I never new how much I would truly learn from the bible until I started actually reading it and was truly amazed. (How great God really is). You cantell your 16 year old son that I know thatit might not be the thinghe reallywants to do be doing at 16(or how can I apply this stuff today in 2007)but I'm 23 and have learned so much I can applyin my life today from reading the bible. Ya..Israel ask for a King. Saul is who God chose. I agree, David is a really great person to learn from. I wonder why God chose Saul.I think itsa great thing you are doing withyour son.
