Default Sunday's Sermonette

Howdy all! good to see you here this Father's day..Let's all take time to honor our Heavenly Father for his wonderfull love toward us.. you know without him we could do nothing as He even holds our next breath in hi hands..What a wonderful Saviour!!! please rememer those in need of prayer today whether it be physical or spiritual needs..God does hear and answers prayer...

Father we humbly stand before you today with thankful hearts that you loved us so much you sent your only begotten Son to die on that old rugged cross for our sins that we might spend eternity in Heaven with you..thank yoy Father, in Jesus name i pray,Amen

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matt.&:7-12 kjv.

If we truly took to heart that which we find in verse 12, how much better do you think our world would be? True, peace without the second coming of Christ will never last, but if we truly treated treated others as we would like to be treated, how different our world would be!! It is not whether we like or dislike someone, but are seeking to share the love of Christ with others? The reason that Jesus was so effective in His outreach is that He was transparent. When needed to he would admonish and lower the boom on the necessary individual or individuals, but when a soft touch was needed, Jesus was able to do this also.remember when he cleaned out the temple in his anger and then when H e dealt with the woman at the well with such compassion and love.. For us we are either so cold to others or so hot that they only see the streaks of fire ascending from hell. True, man without Jesus has only one place that he will dwell throughout eternity, but we are where we can to share the love of God and make sure that those we come in contact with see that God has truly changed our hearts and lives. For some they do need to have a heavy hand, but for many just a firm and loving hand will show them that they truly in need of Savior, Jesus Christ. Allow the Spirit of God to speak to your heart and guide your steps as directs you and your family. and as fathers we need to share our love with our children and grandchildren..when is the last time you told you son or daughter you loved them? i never in my life heard my fathere say he loved me and oh how i longed to hear that..now my children and grandchildren when we part ewe always kiss and tell each other we love them..my oldest daughter is 52 and we always hug and kiss..they never get too old to show them you love them..remember in the New Test. Paul wrote two letters to Timothy who he considered his true son in the faith.1 Tim 1:2..he then goes on to warn him of the false teachers teaching false doctrine..in the secon letter he assures Timothy of his love and faithful prayers..and then verses 6-7-8, what great words..
"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;" 2 tim. 1:6-8 kjv.
the key phrase here being the power of God..without the power of God we are nothing and can do nothing..Dads, you can give great encouragement to your children with a letter of love or a phone call or a visit..it may be the greatest gift you ever gave them.the greatest gift a father can give his children is himself..

Thank you again Father for your longsuffereing and as always if there is one here that doesn't know you as their Lord and Saviour may this be their day of salvation..we love you and thank you in Jesus precious name Amen..

I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
The Family of God
You will notice we say "brother and sister" 'round here,
It's because we're a family and these are so near;
When one has a heartache, we all share the tears,
And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.
Chorus
I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
The Family of God
From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King,
No longer an outcast, a new song I sing;
From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong,
I'm not worthy to be here, but PRAISE GOD! I belong!
Chorus
I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
The Family of God

Amen Motor, Prayer is how we have our needs met. We should pray regularly and continuously as we can. Sin has shut the door to us and it's by prayer that we knock.If we come in faith we are all welcome to the throne of grace.
Here it is fathers day and we dads are being honored for the ways we yhave loved our children. We as parents are always ready to give our children good things and our heavenly Father is much the same except He is much wiser and knows more what we need. God would'nt ask us to pray and then not listen or give us things that would go against us.

I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn"t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
And heavier came each task.
"Why doesn"t God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn"t ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn"t show me.
He said, "But you didn"t seek."

I tried to come into God"s presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn"t knock."

I woke up early this morning,
And paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.
