Another David / Saul Question
Why did Saul have all of these godly priest and their families and animals.killed??And the king{ Saul}said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod. And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

Well, I was being lazy. Anyway....Saul wanted the preists killed because they knew David was fleeing and didnt tell him (Saul). Saul's officials wouldnt do the job, so Saul asked Doeg to do the deed.

Man I wanted to answer. I just going reading 1 Samuel. But you left out one of the sons escaped and went to David.
