RE: Anyone think that this is a tool of the beast?
If it isn't of God it is a tool of satan. There are some who pass that off as just a child's game but there are others who having faith that it really works do call on evil spirits. I for one would not let one of those things in my house for that very reason. Some may argue that they are using it for good but these are lost souls that do not know the truth. These people are often times the ones that mean well or have good intentions but somewhere along the way they lose sight of that and take the wrong approach to their said intention.

While I do beleive the Wee Gee board is Satanic, not everything is quite that black and white. Is a knife a tool of God or Satan? In the hands of a murderer, it is evil. In the hands of a cook, it is good. The tools use is up to us and how we allow our hearts to be led. See my point? Even Scripture can be a tool of Satan. The temptation of Christ was not the last time Satan used Scripture to further his own ends.
You are very correct is your stance about the Wee Gee board, however. I would not allow one in my home either.

In line with what 06 said, it has no magic or power in and of itself. The danger comes when you usw the Ouija board, you are exposing yourself to the supernatural influences, whether intentionally or not. The evil one does not play fair, and whether the person involved-- and it would need to be to more of a degree than placing your hands on it to ask, one time, who am I going to marry, ie.---begins to delve deeply into seeking answers that only faith in God, and trusting in His providence over time can answer. In a case like this, yes, it can become a bridge to evil influences and more than you would bargain for, just as seances, tarot cards, fortune tellers, etc. can be.I am not sue if this question was intended to get any serious answers, or if it was intended to get a reaction--but this is not just my personal opinion, but shared by many that are the real experts, far above and beyond my humble opinion.
RE: Anyone think that this is a tool of the beast?
I think ouija boards are a bad influence on kids, but I think things like TV do way more damage. If I were the devil, I would concentrate my efforts there.
RE: Anyone think that this is a tool of the beast?
My dad said that a schoolmate had an Ouija board, and at some sort of community hall or something, he would go there and he and his friends would use it. My dad, meanwhile, would watch, though he knew what it was and had obligations against it, so he never actually used it.
He said that the thing would move by itself, and say weird things.
Later, the kid who had it, broke his leg, and two of his sisters got sick, so the kid decided he had enough, and he burned the Oujia board, and everyone recovered.
RE: Anyone think that this is a tool of the beast?
There are many windows and avenues the Christian can open to allow demons to overtake or certainly influence us. The oujia board is one of them. I believe many times we allow those windows to open due to ignorance or just being naïve. We can allow darkness to overtake us with such things as porn, alcohol, filthy language, taro cards and so on. It may start of as a simple game, but to the unsuspecting soul, the battle of Eph 6:12 begins.

I agree with Rev, the ouija board can definatley be a window. Lot's of folk don't take the spirit world seriously but the Bible says we better. Deuteronomy 18:10-12
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Demons will do everything they can to take a person away from God. One of the easiest ways of doing this is by taking away a persons need to go to God for comfort and help. Satans plan is to pull people away from God by filling there head with lies.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; The ultimate plan is once a person no longer feels the need for God they will reject him and ultimately be destroyed.
