Default I'm still here

I haven't left the forum, but it probably looks like it!

I've been extreemly busy at work lately and haven't even had time to get online at home either. When I do get online, I am not logged in, but I do continue to at least read the posts.

To update you, I got my personal trainer certification in Dallas a month ago, my middle son got married (ceremony to follow in Oct at my home), my wife and I just bought a new Prius, and we're getting ready to go somewhere (still haven't decided) for our 25th anniversary next week!

See, told you I was busy!

I'll chime in more when I get the chance.

That's okay, my husband pours concrete and puts in a lot of hours. Some Saturdays but those are mostly just half days because he goes and cuts whatever they poured that week. Last week was brutal because they were doing stamped concrete and the hours are even longer. So we understand that sometimes life gets crazy. Congratulations by the way.

I'm in about the same place Dave. I am busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest! I do come occasionally, but my prioroities are elsewhere. I tried to take a few days off last week, and ended up working from the cabin we rented .[&:]Congratas on your son's wedding, and your anniversary!

Well, it looks like we're going to take a trip to Texas. Since we bought the Prius, we're anxious to see if the mileage is as good as advertised! We're leaving Friday (tomorrow) as soon as my son gets home from the last day of school. We'll drive straight though for 25+ hours to get to Houston by Saturday evening - my sister wants us to go to with her family to their church Sunday - they really love their church. On Monday, my wife and I will drive 5 hours north to Dallas - where I was a month ago - and spend a couple days being tourists. Hopefully we'll be able to find a nice, affordable motel. The one I stayed at last month is already packed and I suspect others are too. At any rate, we'll celebrate 25 years of marriage on Tuesday.

Just think - 25 years and we haven't regretted one day. No wait . . . I think there was two days we haven't regretted!

Seriously, we have a great marriage and would do it all over again tomorrow.

Y'all be good now and I'll try to get into some of the debates when I get back. I see a lot of them that I want to respond to, but just haven't had the time.
