A question about Obadiah??????????
this may be a dumb question but ,,I've been studing obadiah and how God judged Edom, Esau's descendants after they had participated in the plundering of jerusalem, Judah,s capital in around 586 B.C. After bring destroyed by the Babylonians.....Obadiah does'nt say why God was judging His people in Judah ?? By allowing them to be destroyed by babylon,,,Were they in a sinful period,was God tring to get them to repent?? What book might I look Amos?seem to be set around765B.C.and Jonah? set around 805-764B.C.the books on either side of Obadiah arent the same time period..,,,I hope this question is not to confussing
