Default Getting back to the basics

Dear brothers and sisters,
Yesterday while i was fishing I relaized all the gimmicks and lures I had bought. ..and how it really hasn't improved my fishing.
In the quietness of fishing I felt the Lord telling me go back to the way I usedto fish. Then I caught a nice fish. ...I mean it was God who taught me to fish in the first place.

Last night for the 1000s time I felt grieved as we were doing the same ole thing..Lyn reading a novel. Aaron playing on the Nintendo system and me picking on my guitar. Something in meprompted me to say,"Aaron, come on out here in the living room, we are having a Bible study." We had a good study and then I let him go back. Then I picked up myt guitar and worshipped the Lord. This morning I felt God telling me to go back to the basics with a daily Bible study with Aaron., getting out the hymnal and sing unto the Lord. Looking back into time I realized that was God's Spirit leading me..This morning I awoke with The Old Rugged Cross in my mind...I'm committing myselfto going back to the basics my friend..daily Bible studies with Aaron, More Worship and less jamming and prayer,
Love ya all,
C7

Back to the basics is a good idea... that's what good foundations are made of and strong houses are built on. I am with ya Chuck.
