Default Todays Verse, May 28,07

"May the people of all nations at last become aware that God will solve the people's problems through faith, hope and prayer!

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:9,10

Today take pride in your country and in those who defend it!"

Thank you Reb, very appropriate for today... Freedom comes with a price, shame of it, too many in this country have forgotten that.

Reb I remmber that war everyday not just one day a year. I was in the 131st recon as a sniper and we lost a lot of good men for what, a war that the people back here did not want to win. If you remmber when we came home what we got I do and it still haunts me to this day when we came off the ships we were spit on and called baby killer murders. They called us we did not ask to go, a lot of good brothers were left over there and a lot came home with parts missing like arm and legs and for what a war they did not want to win. this was nam back in the 60 and 70s. I support any man or woman that goes to war they need all they can get.

Amen Rev the bad thing is they are doing it again we need to line the people up that are againest the war and shoot them first there has been 3405 men and woman killed over there so far lets give them what they need to WIN and then bring them home freedom does not come cheap the price is red the color of are peoples blood. They want to win so lets help them,

The bad part is I am to old to go I would be the first in line and would bring my own gun,

God bless are boys and girls over there and be sure to pray for them.

I remember that as well Renfrow. Honestly, at the time I could'nt figure out what was going on as I felt I was only doing my part. But even then there were some that supported our troops. I remember to this day some folks that treated me to a lunch and drinks at the airport simply for being a service man. No matter what point we may go back to in history there were always good people and no shortage of idiots.
