Good morning all and welcome to our service.. hope you all have a great holiday week-end and everybody be safe..please remember those in need of prayer andthat God's perfect will be done in their lives..please say a special prayer for our boys and girls in the service of our country, that they will se safe and get to come home soon..God Bless each and everyone of them..
Father we do pray for the sick and the needy and for our military people where ever they are today..we thank you Father, for your wonderul love and mercy and for your Son Jesus who died that we might live forever in that place called Heaven..Father may thy sweet Holy Spirit have the freedom in our hearts that we might learn from thy Word and draw closer to thee. we thank you for all you do in Jesus's precious name and for his sake,Amen..
9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 7:9-17 kjv.
Heaven will be filled with individuals who are there because they had an opportunity given to them by our witnessing, by mouth or by our actions..one morning in cafe, a young man said to me."I don't know what you got but don't ever lose it" I'm not saying this to brag on myself, but to say, we never know who is watching.. Those were presented with the Gospel and they had to respond to that which was presented to them. Some walked away, some may even had run a way quickly, but there is a vast number who realized the truth given too them and asked Jesus to be their Savior. We have others who farther down the line will stand before God, but they will be there only because they will bend their knee to the King of Kings and LORD of LORDS JESUS CHRIST.... Regardless of how strong or well off you may be, if you do not have Jesus as your Saviour, there will be nothing between you and the judge of mankind. oh i'm so glad I won't have to stand before Him at the Great White Throne Judgement..Consider Who He is and What He has to give you? the bible sys that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life." Jesus himself said ,"I am the way, and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me. look in verse nine of our text, He says,I saw a great multitude, so many that they couldn't even count them, of all kinds of people, what a wonderful picture that is, it don't matter who or what you are, salvsation is there for you..the bible says, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" my dear friends, that included me 65 years ago when i went to the cross and and got under the Blood of my Lord and Saviour..oh yes, He saved me..I'm still not what i ought to be, and i'm not what i wish to be, i i'm not even what i hoped to be, but by God's grace and Jesus love, i'm not what i used to be..GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!We have nothing in and of ourselves except to ask Him to forgive our actions and our deeds. As we enter into this holiday weekend, allow God to direct your paths and please take time to tell someone about Jesus, after all He died for you and me..What a wonderful Saviour we serve, Amen..
In this year 2007, let's take every opportunity to tell others about Jesus and how He saved us. tell your own salvation story and ask others to share their's as well. no matter who we are if we belong to Jesus we need to stand up and speak out.. we never know when we might make a difference in someone's life. even here on this forum I am sure there are those who need encouragement and yes some may need a Saviour..
Father, thank you again for all you do for us and as always, if there is someone here that is lost and on their way to hell, may this be their day of salvation..In Jesus name we pray, Amen
how many of you remember this wonderful old hymn,Tell me the story of Jesus?
Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart every word.
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard.
Tell how the angels in chorus,
Sang as they welcomed His birth.
"Glory to God in the highest!
Peace and good tidings to earth."
Refrain Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart every word.
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard.
Fasting alone in the desert,
Tell of the days that are past.
How for our sins He was tempted,
Yet was triumphant at last.
Tell of the years of His labor,
Tell of the sorrow He bore.
He was despised and afflicted,
Homeless, rejected and poor.
Refrain Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart every word.
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard.
Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,
Writhing in anguish and pain.
Tell of the grave where they laid Him,
Tell how He liveth again.
Love in that story so tender,
Clearer than ever I see.
Stay, let me weep while you whisper,
Love paid the ransom for me.
