Default To Mr. Fish ...mods can you please move this one to the religious site.

Hey Partner,
I promiced ot get back with ya a couple of days ago. ..
So here we go.

Yep lonely ppl. But no i have never fished for men. I wouldnt even know where to start or why id be fishing for them. I don't either sir..A matter of fact I'm finding myself totally reliant to Him for everything everyday. These days most people are looking for happiness, but they are tired of getting scamed..I wan tto be real Mr.Fish..black and white..I don't like ripping anybody off. I do know th eanswer today though Mr.Fish...and I do my best to win friends so that I may lead them to The answer.

But fish only know to act on there there biological instints eat food& reproduce etc.
exactly and this is why missionairies rarely go into a foreign county ramming the gospel down their throats..first they help with their basis needs ..food , medicine and shelter...the answer cones after the fishes' needs are met.

Men are not fish of course ...
I understand that...Jesus used that as an example .When you are fising for men it does take ..knowledge, finesse , patients and spiritual skill. He used that term because many of his followers were fishermen...

Last yr in june i flew back to buffalo to see my stepdadwho been sick for a ( hadnt seen them in about 15 yrs)while- knew his time was coming i think - he mentioned about the fisher of men he met the -priest coming to his room - asking if he belived in Jesus- he said no i dont think so - the man says ok & left& that was that...reminds me of the priest in the parable of The Good Samaritan...they were totally useless. Most of God's best servants do not wear a robe..Some can even be found in a bass boat..out among 'Thr fish.'( less time then it would take to catch a crappie) Now i would imagian that was his offical job for the hospital & why he was there. Mr. Fish...this is the age of many phonies..Jesus made it simple .."Ye shall know them by their fruit." obviously he was simply in the ministry for the almighty buck..Real Christains love people.

I saw my step grama (98 yrs old )while there to( she was the one who rasied us) his mom(a family very lacking in religionby most ppls standards).

He looked like he was doing better when i left- making a comeback- beat the 1cancer - but also had advanced copd& other complacations.

In a few(3) mths he died & she followed soon after. Now they both ended up in hospice& " im sure that they helped in many ways& didhelp them both -just as the nurses did that i saw him with at home& in the hospital."

Now if any more fishers of men came around for either i dont know for sure... but i hope they tryed a little harder then that last man fishing did- even though i dont believe in fishing for men or understand the why.

The mate also talked to him awhile about his soul while there( longer then 1 min)- but i believe he was more then ready to die & be judged just as he was& had allways been.

(and you know already i basicly feel that same way even if my time is today)

Yep there s lonely ppl out there & worse. That should make then easy to catch? OH....Maybe we have a little misunderstanding brother...I'm not one of those who try to talk someone into giving a quick confession..rather more as a gardner..one who waters or plants seeds. I leave the ultimate catching of men to the Lord.

But i dont see the how or wh- i see only the here& now .I can only see where you or i( or hospice & caring nurses etc also)can make there lives a little better before they die. Individuals can make a difference Mr. Fish...before college I worked in a group home for the physically handicapped.I gave the residents baths, fed them and drove them to their disignated places for 7 years. We also adopted a handicapped child..We can't change the world...BUT we can touch individual lives...one at a time.

Not some maybe claim ofimortality in some maybe paradise talked of by fishers of men.

And in the end we will all find out for our selfs.

(sorry to be solong winded - & so serious( something i try to avoid- )

God bless ,
C7

Thanks for the response C7- its not allways easy for me to understand these things - as i said before we see the same thing - but at the same time we dont. ( rememeber the post about death in the bible you liked so much?)
( but i better keep this short- as it is now a relgious post right?

No fish gets on the hook because itwants to.

The lure presented ?
You catch fish by fooling them- they think its food time, when in fact they are the food. Or one catchs fish by other means to be eatin or as fertilizer etc .Not one of them choses to put the hook inits mouth , the spear in its side or the net around its body.

And many where goat & sheep hearder to eh? Men are none of those either- though sometimes its hard to tell them apart.

But i did say i would keep my response short here-( i also said i would do my very best-Not to discourage others in there thinking on these things- with my own reflections , thoughts etc.
( not so easy to do either sometimes)

Ok i will add just a bit more ....( cant help myself)

How can you tell one man from another when they are bearing the same fruits?

But i dont doubt that real Christians love ppl - just as many other ppl love ppl also -who arent Christian.

( but when its a command & required even to fish for men- you do have to consider motive etc - are they doing it for the person they claim to care about or themselfs?)

But as when a person is hungry or in need - it really dosnt matter the hows& whys of how the food got there -only that they can eat- the end results it seems to me then( the present/ here& now)- its the food & not the motive behind it is whats importan then..

Much of what i see reminds me of the carrot& stick( in this world)- know what i mean?
Hammas, the black panthers, jim jones, A .hitler, C. manson( in the present, past& thew history)- the perv with the ice cream cone& candy etc etc - all used the ppls needs to lure them in & or to make them followers to be lead to- a very commen method of luring .( not that im comparingChrist to these low lifes- just to be clear)

You never heard those sayings - wolfs in sheeps clothing- or the twistedman braging- you would be suprized what you can get a child to do for a piece of candy( or the promise of a room full of candy?

You would not be ripping anyone off or scaming anyone by helping someone in there needs- with no strings( or fishing line)attached.

I think i can read many ppl pretty well ( or place my self in there shoes even ) even on a pc.
I dont have much doubt at all you do things forthe right reasons & are a good person .You are & you believe what your saying when you say you have "the answer". I do fail to see it tho - but maybe you do who knows- Not me i have no answers- i really can only deal with things of this world tho i see no other way - but the here& now.

It is what it is& i think only we can make it a better place ourselfs.
