you don't have to study the Bible very long till you realize the importance of Faith as shown so clearly in Eph. 2:8..To me Faith is a personal confidence.. we say, i have faith in my doctor or i have faith in my old ford p/u. in other words we trust them to help us thru whatever may be the case..so in the Bible, Faith is a personal confidence in God..it means that we believe what He says and we trust him to save us and keep us..as we look around in our families we can see that some don't have Faith in God..how does a man receive Faith? the answer is in Romans 10:17,"So then Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God..that tells me if you don't have Faith, read the Word of God and pray and meditate on it..God has promised us that if any man wishes to do his will he will come to the lnowledge of truth. John 7:17 the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the true object of Faith..i believe that the important thing is not how much Faith one has or what kind of Faith you have but whether your Faith is in Christ..I believe that all of us here on this forum believe tha Jesus was born in Bethlehem, that He died on Calvary and ascended into heaven and one day is coming back to get his church..but have we really put ourFaith in him and trust him to save us and take us to heaven?true Faith never goes unrewarded and no one has ever truste God in vain..Every sinner, including this ole man, who has repented of his sins, and has put his Faith in the Lord Jesus has been saved
