Default prayer request

I am putting in a quick prayer reqest before I go. The retreat is tomorrow and I would be honored if you would remember me in your prayers. I'm not sure if I will have time to even check this, I have to make muffins, cheese fudge, harvest my lilacs and blooms off the trees, ect., Pray that I don't forget to bring anything and that I don't choke up come time to do devotions, I really don't like public speaking even though I know that most attending are fellow Christians. And pray that this will be beneficial to the ladies and that Christ guides us throughout our day. I will thank you now in case I don't have the chance to later.

Just wanted toadd this I'll forget over the weekend. Is asking others to pray for you a form of prayerin itselfor do you feel relief because you asked for help and you knowthat God will take care of it? I was just wondering what others thoughts were.

You got Prayers From Texas comming your way. And I think its okay for asking help by the Holy Spirit to help guide your words in your prayer.

Asking someone to pray for you is a step of faith. It's also an honor when folks trust you enough to ask you to pray for them. I will be praying for ya Katrina.

Thanks guys, I had just a bitof timeso I decided to check in.I feel a lot better about it now andI am not so anxious. And yes I do belive it is a step of faith to ask others to pray for you, it is also very humbling because when you ask for prayers it shows vulnerability. So thank you all for the kind words and the Christian love you show.To God be the Glory!

I'll let you know how it went on Monday!

You hit it on the head! Out interdependence on one another and our dependence on Him is what matters most. It is relational, not traditional!

The retreat was great. We were all fed with the word (and food) filled with the Spirit, and loved. We laughed, we cried, we sang, we prayed, and most importantly we glorified God. Thank-You again for all your prayers. Gotta go so if there is anything else you would like to knw then just post and I'll answer tomorrow.
