Well, I guess praying when you see that deer in the crosshairs.
WhenI went turkey hunting, I said to God, "God, no matter what happens, I will praise your name."
The first time I went out, got skunked, and I walked a ways, while we were still in the lease, I was walking along the river, and looked at the trees, and thought, I still had such a great opportunity, I got to see God's Creation, from sunrise, to sunset.
Next week, Gobble Gobble BOOOM!!!!! I shot a jake, andthankedGod andsilently said,"PraiseYou,Lord!Your Creation is good."

And I stood in admiration, and never before had thought, how beautiful a turkey is, especially the way the contour and the wing feathers harmonize, just a beautiful creature.
I didn't praise God either way when I went deer hunting, but I will do that this year, it's not that that's the ticket to getting a deer, it's just, there's nothing like hunting with the Lord's presence at your side.
