The book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible, and the Bible mentions dinosaurs in the Bible, one is the famed Leviathan, and in Job is where the Leviathan is mentioned, however, in Job 40:15a, in the NASB version, it reads:
"Behold, now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you."
Must've meant a Brontosaurus or something big anyway.
It's the plural form and means beast or cattle. Based on the description, probably refers to the hippopotamus.
Since the verse says "behold" it could not mean the brontosaurus, since that animal lived millions of years previously and could not have been "beheld" by the reader.
I believe in the Bible, and in the Bible it says that all creation on Earth was made together on the 6th day of Creation. So the writer could behold the animal, and a hippo ain't what you and I cal a "behemoth."And that all creation lived at the same time "in the beginning" all that carbon data crap don't work, which I suppose is what you're referring to.
Ask the Jews, they belive the Earth is only 7,000 years old or something. I see no point to disagree with them, remember, this is the Religion forum, and as Judyboi had posted a thing up on this forum, this is the Religion forum, not the Religion bashing forum.
If you don't believe in Religion, you have no business here.

I am religious. I am an observant Catholic. Last time I looked, Catholics were considered Christians which would make me religious.
Someone concluded from the verse that it referred to brontosaurus. I wasn't bashing religion, merely pointing out that there were no brontosaurus around at that time.
Based on my reading of the forum rules, this forum is open to all religions, Buddhist, Mormon, what have you.
Pentecostal, in a sub-denomination called the Church of God (That's the name of the denomination) It's headquarters are in Cleveland, TN.
I, personally, don't consider Catholics true Christians for one reason, because they bow down to idols, Mary and Saints, and in my religion, we only pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
But what I think Catholics are is beside the point, if the brontosaurus wasn't around at Creation, then when were they around?

I don't think that this thread is going to be very helpful to anyone, Go into the thread by daddy's little Girl are there any catholics here and read my post on the last page please. It would do us all good to love thy neighbor as thyself.
A someone truly loves his neighbor as himself, he wouldn't let his neighbor die in his sins, would he? I care about people, and that's why I oppose Catholicism.
As far as the answer to your question I believe the bible the entire bible, and I know that people wrote it but they were allowing the Spirit to do the talking and everything in the bible is endorsed by God because it is His words that the bible is written with. I will just say again this thread isn't going to help anybody. Not in their walk and it will neither glorify God. The last thread on dinosaurs was locked and this one will be to. Texas Oaks was just trying to help his fellow Christians if anyone ever asks about dinosaurs. His thread was for the sole purpose of helping not argueing. You may want to just abandon this one buddy.
And I was also trying to help Christians by giving the answer to what dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible, and look what happened!
It's not my fault someone totally mixed evolution thought, with carbon-dating and stuff, which doesn't work.
I think this thread would help someone if people dealt with it properly, and responded to it responsibly.
