Default Break is over...good morning.

Good morning folks,

Got a testimony. Here lately I've been praying for more understanding , more of God's love working through me and to glorify God in my life.
ok put that on pause..

Last Friday the toughest kid intheschool comes to me with a discipline referrall. He's a 5th grasder that got kicked out of boot camp. I'm a 3rd grade teacher. He cameto my class carrying a referral.last Friday. On the bottom of it said In School Suspension... student must spend Mon. and Tues. in Mr. Borden's class. I was TICKED ...VERY TICKED!!!

I also liketo work through my own problems with my students so they can see me in real life...So I told them my anger was at 90% ."I feel taken advantage of." I said I'll give out a pack of peanut butter crackers for the child with adviceI can use." Hayley says," Why don't you read your Bible on your lunch break." I was shocked at her answer and said .."YOu win." Cassie said." Think about all those fish you will be catching Sat." I also gave her a pack. Two hours later I was still stirred and ask the principal in meekness about the referral .he was very nice and said .If he acts up we will send him home."

This morning the Lord spoketo my heart and said ," Only in my love will this work." You prayed that your love would grow and that I would be glorified" It's through dependence of God and His love thatHe isglorified. Now through hind sight I can see God was simply answering my prayers. Now I'm ready for today .

God bless everyone,
C7

Oh PS...Casssie was right .. Sat was great for fisihing.

Hi Chuck, thats a mess of gills you have there. Have you ever used a electric knife to clean fish? You could filet that whole pile in about 30 mins. Good to see you back on this forum. Chris

Thanks again fellows,
No sir, I've never used an electric filleting knife. The tough part was the bigger bluegills are tougher to scale. I'm fixing a mess tonight..I'll let ya know how they are.I found no worms and the fillets were nice and white.

Thanks for replying Chris and Manuman

The gills were very good tasting. Nice white fillets..no mites ..no worms. I'm going back Sat. morning .I also caught 12 bass on the red worms on 6 pound test ..LOL that was exciting as well.

The student I was supposed to have gotten today was suspended before he got to my room. He tried to break a window out with a book.

11 more days..
