I watched it. I was so torn, conflicted after watching this. One hand, they got a point, just preaching the word, on the other, really scared me. Especially where they were pushing the children to pray in tongues. They definately put Christians in a bad light. Besides the tongues thing, I can't say I disagree with thier doctrine.

As adults they have the right, but having a sister-in-law teaching the same beliefs to her children. I can tell you the kids are getting robbed of their childhood.

wouldn't it make someone a better christian if they were allowed to come into it of their own free will rather than being indoctrinated from a young age?

No such thing my friend. A childhood spent worshipping the Lord, and spreading the word is not wasted one bit. I spent mine sinning, drinking, trying every drug known to man, growing pot, sleeping with any women with a a pulse, breaking the law every second I got, beating people down. If I could trade my childhood with one of the children spending thier lives worshipping the only God, I would do it. We should all be looking up and not looking down worrying so much about worldly things.

You can't lump everyone in one big barrel. Some could argue my youthful indiscretions makes my witness a better one. But, I know that you need a mixture of both. I don't want everyone to go thru the hard ships or pay the prices I did to learn a lesson.

All Christians have separate Spiritual Gifts, some simular but all unique.

david, I thought you said you were a athiest? So no matter what, your tinted view will always go against Christ, no matter in my case, or these childrens case.

Exactly

BC I agree with you to an extend until you see it for real it is not a pretty site.

I will introduce to a little girl who prays before dinner, reads the bible on her own at age 6. She also has a great childhood and has free will

She also is my daughter Comparing her life to her cousins is a huge differnets.

My Sister-in-law husband beat his daughter with a belt at 18 months for not sitting still in church. He uses the bible to defend his actions. Some of these peolpe scare me.

What is a warrior of God?

Last time i check God was about love not war

Well Germ, I can only comment on bible camp, I can't comment on beating an 18month old. Thats an entirely differnt matter. I hear ya and see your point. I just don't want people to have to go thru life as I did to finally come to the conclution that Jesus was the Son of God and I better regconize it. Maybe wehre i come from the other side of the spectrum of these children, I may see it wrong.

God is indeed seeking to love us. It is evident that forming a relationship with us is of utmost import to God. However, let us not forget God's instructions to the Israelites regarding their enemies. And, let us not forget the picture painted by Revelation. Evidently, Christ will lead God's army in all out war.

There is a fine line between discipline and abuse. I do not believe in abuse, I do believe in discipline. I have paddled my daughter. Usually,I dont have to. More often than not, she is deeply hurt by the fact that she has disappointed me and seeks to make amends. My dad used a paddle. I suppose I needed it, as I was a particularly bad kid. I think I am better because of his constant discipline. I am certainly glad he would not bend. Obviously, I am a parent in training and dont have all the answers.

It just scares me when I see children being "controlled".

My S-I-L sounds just like people in the movie. BC I think there is a huge differnce between finding christ and having him shoved in your face.

They were even bothering my mother who is catholic(almost was a Nun). My mother is a saint of a woman BC. I had to go over there a lay the law down. Because her beliefs were "different" than theirs she was the enemy. This is where they are loosing the message.

I will be honest some of these people scare me, a lot.

I also fond it funny the main preacher got fired for his aleternative life style in 2006.
