Default What Drives You.... What passions did God give you?

I am reading the book S.H.A.P.E by Rick Reesand wanted to share part of it to everyone.

"So, if you had permission to do what you really want to do, what would would you do? And remember -Don't ask yourself, How? How? is never the right question; how? is a faithless question. How? is God's department. He is asking you what? What is written on your heart? What makes you come alive? If you could do what you've always wanted to do, what would it be?"

I will start. I would love to be involved in something like Catch A Dream.
Here's their link if you have never heard of them: http://catchadream.org/learn/index.html

What drives me are mypassion forhunting, finance, working with kids, and real estate.I am 23 and would like to somedaywork with kids or adults on financial stewardship or with something involvedwith hunting or fishing for God's glory.

What's your passion?

This sounds similar to Wild at Heart's premise. It is very liberating to not be in denial of the honest, God given dreams, desires, and passions that we are privilegd to enjoy. We get into trouble when we don't yield our 'members' as instraments of righteousness. It is almost a s dangerous whe we repress, as opposed to controllingthe legitimate needs and desires that God has made us with.

Where do I start do I have to pick just one? The Lord has given me an abundance of compassion and the desire to reach out mainly to theyouth. I believe most it of it comes from my childhood experiences. But if I had to choose just one, it would be to write books. I feel that there are plenty ofchristian books for adults and teens, but I have a hard time finding christian books for my children. You can find more if you go to an exclusively christian bookstore, I have none around here. I also look at thechildren's bibles and a majority of them are so watered down thatthat it seems the only message is Jesus loves you. I am not saying that it is not an important message, but that I feel our children can handlesomescripture that you can chew on.
