Default Sunday's Sermonette

Good morning all and hope you are having a great week-end..please pray for the sick and afflicted, the discouraged and the down hearted..and please pray for my neighbor's family as i was just told that he went home to be with our Lord this evening..the families name is Bridges..

Father we thank you for another opportunity to study thy precious Word and may it be a blessing to us..we do pray for the bridges family that you will comfort them at this as only you can..these tings we pray in Jesus's precious name, Amen..

1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Forgiveness is the key to living a life filled with joy and peace in your heart . Satan wants us to believe that what we have done is too bad or beyond the forgiveness of our merciful God. As they say, "This is straightfrom the pit of hell!!" The only thing that God can not forgive is the rejection fo His Son. Anything and everything else is on the plate and is forgiven when offered up as a confession of sin. God then forgives and it is gone. Now again this presumes upon your relationship to God through His Son. Without that relationship, your prayers go into the air and that is it. It is the Blood of Jesus which once we recognize as the only way to God, then the prayers can and will be answered.I once read that in a cemetary somewhere in New York, was a headstone with one word on it, "Forgiven."no dates and no epitaph, just Forgiven..but you know that is the greatest thing that ever applied to a man or woman or that could be written on a tombstone.amen..God is honored and worshiped because He alone can clear our record..If God could not forgive us we would have to flee from him in terror..yes it is God who through Jesus Christ redeems us..He offers forgiveness for all our sins if only we would ask Him..Are you forgiven??
I may have shared this with you before but it is a testimony for forgiveness..several years ago i said something to my wife about our sons girlfriend which i later regretted..everytime i saw her it would cross my mind and i felt terrible..One day i finally told her that i had said something i shouldn't have said and will you forgive me? she never asked what i said she just said of course i forgive you..it felt like a ton of bricks was lifted off my shoulders and peace came back to me..her and my son never got married but we have stayed friends all these years and it was because i swallowed my pride and asked for forgiveness..
God will do the same for you no matter what you have done, or where you are at in your life.. The Word says in 1 John 1:9,
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I'm so glad we serve a forgiving God aren't you?

Father we thank you for your mercy and grace and aak you to forgive us of our sin and give us a clean heart and mind..and Father if there is one reading this today that don't know you as their Lord and Saviour, may this be their day of salvation..in Jesus name and for his sake i pray amen..

I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus,
Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true.
I would tell you how He changed my life completely;
He did something no other friend could do.

Chorus

No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
There's no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;
O how much He cared for me.

All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me;
All my heart was full of misery and woe,
Jesus placed His strong arms about me
And He led me in the way I ought to go.

Chorus

No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
There's no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;
O how much He cared for me.

Ev'ry day He comes to me with new assurance;
More and more I understand His word of love.
But I'll never know just why He came to save me,
Till someday I see His blessed face above.

Chorus

No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
There's no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;
O how much He cared for me.

Amen Preacher! Once we get that forgiveness, we can then forgive others ..... nothing between my soul and the Saviour.....
