Default IRON MEN FELLOWSHIP

Iron Men Fellowship
First of all let me say...I wasn't sure where to post this information.
Secondly, I'm not trying to start any sort of debate...just wanted to share the info for the following event.

This is how the info will appear on a postcard I'm mailing tomorrow:

Men, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 28. Beginning at 9am, River of Life Christian Center will host a special IRONMEN FELLOWSHIP. A light breakfast will be provided. The guest speaker will be Coach Perry Shockley. He is the Head Men"s Basketball Coach of the 2007 NBCAA National Title winning RHEMA Eagles. In addition to his successful coaching career, Coach Shockley has a love for the outdoors. He is an avid hunter; successful hunts include bear, turkey, caribou and more. Currently, he holds a world ranking with the Boone & Crockett scoring system for a caribou he once bow hunted in Alaska.

Please plan to bring your children (ages 4 and up) for this one of a kind men"s fellowship. During the Word shared by Coach Shockley, the children will go with Certified Hunting Safety Instructor-Rusty Coe, where they will learn the foundation of safety with guns. Important questions like "What to do if you find a gun?", and others will be answered during this foundational meeting with the children.

Following the Men"s meeting; the men and children will rejoin to explore archery and bb gun shooting under the watchful supervision of their Dad"s and our Certified Hunting Safety Instructor.

Don"t miss this morning of fun with Coach Shockley, other men with like interests, and most importantly with your children!

This event is free, for more information you may call River of Life Christian Center at 937-653-6754. The church is located at 775 Washington Ave., Urbana, Ohio 43078.

Or you can pm me.

Thanks
smurphysgirl (smurphy's wife)

P.S. I know that most of you here probably educate your children about weapon safety , but I just copied what will appear on the postcard. (The postcard will go out to members and past visitors who've attended our church.)

How are those events? I have always wanted to go to one? Have you read Seven Promises Of A Promise Keeper by Jack Hayford? I am almost done with it.

I haven't read that yet, but , speaking of Jack hayford, I used to attend a church in Savannah, Ga. that the pastor came form his church in California. I have always appreciated Hayford, and his influence was evident in Pastor Ricky Temple's minstry(Overcoming Faith Foursquare Church)
