My son, 22 years old came home the other night to proclaim to me that he had accepted Christ. I was a little skeptical,since that night he had alcohol on his breath, and I wasn't sure of how clear his mind actually was. So,I decided to observe a few days, andI knew that he was headed to a men's retreat (Band of Brothers)this past weekend, along with one of my nephews. I wanted to see what kind of 'difference' that he might demonstrate over a few days and his reaction to the content of the retreat. To make along story short, as you know I can be rather wordy
, he has definitely undergone a chnage. His attitude is different, his countenance is different, and his values are already showing signs of shifting. There are a lot of circumstances that have gone into the timimg and the preparation of his heart, and i won't get into all of those details. He just came to me and stated that he needed a Bible--and I just might know where to find him one! I am so humbled by this and so moved that I can hardly type for th etears. Please pray for him, and his new walk. His name is Anthony. Now I have 2 more to go. God's faithfulness is absolutely astounding to me! I f you have a prodigal, don't give up hope or stop believing and praying. He was a handful, and I am so thrilled at this.
