Caffeine helps suppress the appetite. I drink a cup of green tea followed by a cup of coffee, and it has a great effect.
I've been dieting since Jan. 1, off and on, and I've gone from 167 to about 149. I've got 5 - 10 pounds more to go. By summer time, I'll be on a weight-gaining, muscle building plan.
As far as what goes into the mouth, it's certainly not as harmful as what can come out of it (or the fingers on a keyboard

). I just try to stay away from gluttony, and I think I'm doing better than in years past.
