When i read this Psalm i remembered one time in Georgia, while deer hunting i was riding my 4-wheeler when we came upon some water that was deeper than my 4-wheeler was tall.. but instead of stopping and listening to my freind i went into the deep water and of course it messed up the motor and it wouldn't run and i had to have help getting it back to running properly..
you know life is like that, as we travel the roadway of life, we often find ourselves in deep water, surrounded by grief or waves of sickness, or any of the trials and tribulations we face daily..We need help..
the writer of the Psalm which is David, and boy he should know about the deep waters from all he went through, tells about that assistance..He writes in Psalm 9:9, "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble." in Psalm 27:5, David writes, "For in the time of trouble, He will hide me in the pavilion; in the secret of his tabernacle shall He hide me.He shall set me upon a rock." Oh dear friends, what a wonderful Saviour we serve, Amen? God will always be there to help us through the deep waters..praise the Lord!!
are you in deep water today? does your life feel as it has no meaning? are you discouraged and believe that no one cares for you? Well believe this ole man when i tell you God cares.. He says, "Come unto me ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." maybe you have lost the joy of your salvation or maybe you have never been saved..no one but Jesus can save you, He says, "I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me." however deep the water you are going through, God will help you to get to the other side..
