Jesus influenced by Budhism?

I found it interesting that some claim that Jesus actually traveled to India and was greatly influenced by Budhism. I am sure that most will dismiss this as pure folly, but still interesting.

That the one who created all things would be influenced by his creation is interesting? I can think of other phrases that would describe my feelings more accurately.

Jesus is God.

He KNEW from before time began what was going to happen and what HE would do for us.

Since Budhism is another false religion that leads people astray i.e. - away from the God who saves us, there's NO WAY that it influenced Him.

NO WAY WHATSOEVER.

John 2 said "Jesus commended himself to no man." He was not impressed with man...any man. he was The Truth.

i've heard that theory before also. the ppl that claim he did that are the ones who don't believe he was really God, but just a good teacher. they'll say "jesus said X and so did Buddah." buddah was around before Christ so that's where they come up with that. i've heard the same about confucious. there's no evidence whatsoever for those claims.

I guess by your response that you do not have children? I am influenced by my creation/daughter every day.

While I agree with you in much of what you say, even if there wassubstantialevidence, most would not believe it as their world would crash and they would likely go crazy.

I was watching a show on the History channel last night and they did a significant section on those believing that Jesus did travel to India and was influenced by Budhism. I think it was part of the copper scroll debate.
