If anyone has sexual thoughts to anyone besides our spouse its lusting. For us guys its really bad.i wastalking this among friends. a fiend of mine said if you dont look at women sexually you are gay. i am trying not to why does this have to be so hard for us guys?

It doesn't have to be so hard for us guys...but I certainly understand the feeling. I'm on college to, and once again, the weather's warmed up and the girls are wearing less...and its tough.
First, we need to realize that we can't do it. It's gonna take grace from the Father. Some of Paul's advice was to treat every woman as your mother or sister, in the utmost respect. Every girl out there is someone's baby girl. And whether or not their earthly dad demands the upmost respect their heavenly Father does! Pray about. Remove every hint of pornography from your life. Be careful about what music you listen to as well.
Realize that our "drive" is a gift as well as a responsibility. Seems more like a curse most of the time, but God hasn't made a mistake in our design.

It often isn't easy. Life is full of challenges and Satan is truly all around us in this world. God did make women beautiful to attract our attention but their appearance is only part of the attraction. If you only focus on looks, you will miss other things that are far more important to establishing a lasting and loving relationship--Love, loyalty, trust and faith in God.

You are supposed to be attracted to us. If you take the Bible literally, It says that God created woman for man and told them to be fruitful and multiply. But He also said that man should "cleave unto his wife." And He also laid down rules about adultery and fornication. We girls have desires too. But if we're smart we control them until we find a guy who is going to be a good provider for us and our children. It just makes sense. And a guy needs to contol his desores until he can be that provider that God meant him to be. And until he finds a girl who can be the wife and mother to his children that God meant him to have.

Based on research it is very typical for men to have reoccuring sexual thoughts and to sexualize women other than their spouses. Nothing out of the ordinary at all.
When my walk is strong with the Lord, all I have is passion for my wife. When I am lacking in my walk, yep, I have sexual thoughts about other women. Got to keep guard of your heart every day, and not let satan get a foothold in your life. Lust is one of his most effective tools he uses. I bet discouragement, is his most powerful however.
