Just wanted to tell the world that prayer works. here's one example.


For nine years my wife and I have tried having children with no luck. Doctors could find no problems, we are both young ( in our child bearing ages) and healthy. We had pretty much givin up. We decided that we would look into adoption because Invitro fertilization was very expensive and it was only a chance, and we wanted children. My wife and I prayed hard and often that god would give us children. We had friends and familypraying with and for us. but still no luck. Then in october of 2006 my grandfather who was a healthy 99 y/o just passed away in the night on the 17th. Needless to say we were crushed by his untimely passing. But the lord worked his majic. In his death he left me a small inheritance. When I received itI was shocked. I didn't even know he would have anything to leave us. So my wife and I decided to give Invitro a try.After many visits to Cleveland from Pittsburgh, ( that was hard enough being a die hard steeler fan) we got the call on march 3rd. that we were pregnant! wow did we rejoice and thank GOD! Then on St.Patrick's day ( the 17th)my wife came to me and said she was bleeding heavily. While fighting back the tears, and trying to be strong for my wife I called the doctor and he said there's nothing that could be done. If she is mis-carrying then it will have to take it's course. I asked if we should go to the hosiptal and he said you could go and have a ultra sound but that we would wait about 4hrs and probably get bad news. Well we didn't even hesitate. We went straight to the women's hosipital in Pittsburgh. The trip took about twenty minutes for us and we prayed the whole way there. Once there the nurse asked the mandatory questions and we both got the impression that it wasn't good news we are gonna get. They did the ultra sound, and the nurse, while performing the ultra sound, asked my wife how many embryo's were placed in her, she said two. Then the nurse said, well that would be why I see two heart beats! Holy Moly she said heart beat. Wait she said two heart beats? man I went straight to tears. I couldn't stop starring at the ultra sound screen. There they were, our little gifts from god.The doctor told us the bleeding was a common thing when twins are present to not worry. He had us follow up with our regular doctor. When we did our doctor said that we had lived through a miracle. My only response was, GOD is great and he performs miracles daily for believers to see! so in closing The lord granted me two prayers. #1 children which we both prayed so hard for. #2 and grandpap will live in our family through my children andmy memories. I'm sure that night grandpap was sitting right beside me in that ultra sound room just as happy as I was! Believe me Prayer works, I have two living proofs on the way!!!!!!

My wife and I tried for 10yrs and a lot of prayers. After the first year of nothing happening, we both went to the doctors. Well, she was diagnosed with Endometriosis and a year after that, it got worst.

She had her right Tube and Overy removed. When a Tube and Overy is removed, the Ovulation is every other month, so the chance for pregnancy is 50%. Well, another 8yrs went by and her Left Tube and Overy got the same diagnosis. She went in to have a Hysterectomy at the age of 31.

We both prayed about it and made the decision to never havechildren of our own and adopt as many as the Lord would allow us to have.We asked the Lord for a full recovery of my wife and that we would parent adopted children and Lead them and Teach them to be Christians.

Her doctor was an elderly and well known RussianGynecologist here in the area. Well, when the operation was over, he came to the Waiting room and told me that he thought my wife was still to young for a Hysterectomy and that he just removed 3/4 of the Overy and if after a year ifshe still didn't get pregnant, then he would do the Hysterectomy.

About 3 months after that surgery, she started to have discomfort and back to the doctor again. Guess what, Praise The Lord, they told her she was pregnant.

I was repairing the steps at our place and she came out to bring me some ice tea and on her way back she fell and she started to have terrible pains and passed a blood cot as big as a calf liver. You can imagine my thoughts on that. Well, on my knees I went straight to the Lord. The doctor told her bed rest for 5 days without getting up and flat on her back.

Six months later, my son 6-1/2lbs and 21" was born in perfect health. Praise The Lord!

Does Prayer Work?My wife, myself and my son know it does!!

In June of1996 after his graduation from high school I bought him a car. Well, 30 days later in July he had an automobile accident and was in the Trauma Unit and then in ICU for 10days in a coma andwith a Shunt in his brain. The doctors told us that It would be a Miracle if he made it!

Well, on the 10th day he woke up and the nurses heard him saying a prayer and called us immediately. After 2 more days in ICU, he was moved to a regular room and 5 daysafter that we brought him home!

So brother,you wanted to tell the world that Prayer Works?
