Maybe it's something that comes with our getting older Renfrow. Seems like everybody that I ever looked up to are passed on now. Plus most of the friends I had while living the life are gone also. Throw in a couple that have left before their days were full and it just seems that my days have been full of death.
Not to minimize or disagree with your perspective . . .just got me to thinking is all. Our prayers will be with Nancy and your mother and yourself that you all see better days. In the name that is above every name . . Jesus.

One reason is because it's our age.We are getting older.I'm seeingmore sickness in my loved ones and death as well.Chuck, when I go through times such as these our Lord has been teaching me to find things to thank Him for. Today was one of those days. My son is grieving my spirit very bad. On the way home I thanked God for the asphalt road to drive on.It's that simple. I find things to thank Him for. Paul and Silas sang hymns while in stocks in a dungeon. I don't know if that is your answer ..I just know here lately my road has been very lonely. I ask God how to deal with that bummed out feeling. He told me to thank Him.It's been helping me alot. I'm sorry about the recent deaths Chuck.
God is not picking on you my friend. Death and sickness happens to all of us Chuck. We have the privedge of prayer and yet that is still no guarantee. God always has the final word. We are to try and glorify Him in our witness no matter what befalls us. Recently depression has really been trying to camp in my heart. The praise and thanksgiving keeps that from giving our enemy a foothold. God bless, C7
I don't have an answer to your question other than we don't control those things in life and that you should pray about it. Lately I've been doing some praying and reflecting upon my faith with God and how I have been trying to deal with some problems in life on my own. I finally just asked God to take over the burden (I know, I was being pretty stubborn until that point). I felt a certain relief after I asked God to take over yet still get angry and frustrated when thinking about the problems.
I have come to realize that I need to upgrade my relationship with God and learn to open my heart to him and love him. This doesn't mean I'm going to ignore my problems but am now learning a little better how to put them into perspective and proper priority (i.e. it's hard to love God when you're already angry, frustrated and maybe even depressed about your problems).
Anyway, I'm still thinking and upgrading my way through this part of my life and relationship with God. Pardon the rambling and no offense towards your impossibly difficult situation is intended. Hopefully this helps some. If not, please just skip over it.

Sorry to hear about Nancy. We will keep you in our prayer Chuck. One day we will have all the answers, but for now we just have to trust Him.
God Bless your family

So sorry to hear this my friend..at times like these we ,as humans , cannot give you the peace and comfort you need..only God can heal a broken heart, but we must give him all the pieces..Jesus said, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and i will give you rest." we will still have the trials and problems of life but He will see us through them..I know you love the Lord and your faith isstrong but sometimes we as humans falter and we need someone to strengenth, and that someone is Jesus..remember, we all love you but better yet God loves you and you and Nancy and your mother are in my prayers daily and may God grant you peace in your heart..
