You know there is nothing scripturely about it. But why do you always type God with a lower g? I don't know why, but I cringe every time I see you do that. Maybe I am silly.

Actually DH, capitalizing the "G" in God is merely showing some respect to who created you. I agree with BC about the cringing part. The decision is yours to make, as are the consequences.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a veteran.
If you're certain you know everything, there's little opportunity to learn anything.
There is a verse somewhere on it. Can't remember where though.
Just remember this: Salvation is NOT a license to sin. Just b/c you're saved does NOT mean you can dowhat you want to, and just ask for forgiveness and expect everything to be ok. 'Cause it won't. I had this revealed to me one night in a very conspicious way. Let's just say an old ex-girlfriend corrected me after a little "escapade" if you know what I mean. Which later showed me that I was NOT saved to begin with, but only made a false profession of faith. (Under heavy conviction)
If you know something is wrong, and do it anyway, will it be forgiven? Depends. As long as you're not blasphemeing the Holy Ghost--it can be. But again, Salvation is NOT a free pass to sin at will.

You KNOW that it's wrong . . . and you give in to the temptation anyway. Yes, it's a terrible thing to do . . . and yet, many Christians knowingly sin at times.
Yes, it is forgiveable because Christ died for ALL sin, but as has already been said, you DO NOT have a license to sin. You know better and true Christians have the resources (God's grace) to help them resist the devil's temptations.

Yeah but you do wrong, which we have a tendency to do, and then we ask for forgiveness and try to do better. Why keep beating yourself up about it if you're forgiven?
Didn't Jesus say "My yoke is easy and my burden is light?"
12 Who can discern his errors?
Forgive my hidden faults. 13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then will I be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
