Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning and HAPPY St. PATRICKS day to you..it's good to be here and hope you receive ablessing from his Word..please pray for the sick and affliced and those who are discouraged and those who have both physical and spiritual needs.. we ask these things in Jesus name, Amen..

12But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
13So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
14And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
19For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Phillippians 1:12-19 kjv.

All too often we forget that God has a plan for our life and that it covers it from birth to death.. and yes, He even has plan for us after death... Not just the great times where you are on top of the world, but also when you feel like one more problem and you will crash and burn. God will be with His children always and what is necessary for us is to remember that God will always know best and if you and I are truly on the right path, then we are ready for anything that comes our way. remember, He said in his Word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Look at Paul and him being imprisoned and handcuffed to a jailer day in and out. Yet Paul knew that those who were watching over him were the best and were truly part of the royal household. By Paul's witness and the lives changed, God knew he would affect those of the royal household and that the message of God would go forth. how about you? could you stand up and speak out for Jesus in a crowd of murderers and thieves as Paul did? We know that the Word can never return void, but it may come in a manner we do not expect. Allow God to have control and then trust Him to work it out in and through you. I know you and i have had many opportunites to witness for Christ and many times we pass them by..we should take every opportunity to tell the good news that Jesus saves, Amen..I remember one time a few years ago i was in georgia on a hunting trip and as my friend and i were driving down this old clay road i saw this black man standing by his pick up with a front bumper sticker that said Jesus..the sweet Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and i told my friend to stop and back up and i got out and witnessed to him and he accepted Christ as his Saviour.the next year when i went up to hunt his wife looked me up and told me that James had died that summer and she said i hope he is in heaven..i told her about our talk the year before and her face lit up like a light bulb as he had not told her..so you see you never know what will happen if we don't cease every opportunity to witness..i can tell you of many more times i took time to tell the good news and saw many lives change but i am so ashamed to say there were many times i never stopped and just went on by..I have heard people say, "No need to talk to that old drunk or stay away from them drug addicts". hey, at one time we were lost and hopeless but yet God saved us..dear friends God will save from the guttermost to the uttermost, you can't be too bad that He won't save you if you but believe in him. amen..who knows how many are in hell today because i didn't care enough to share what Jesus done for me on that old rugged cross..what a wonderful Saviour,Amen!!
Have a great week-end and Please tell someone about Jesus, after all He died for you and me..

Dear Heavenly Father again we thank you for your love for us and your long suffering and mercy..and as usual Father if there is one here today that is lost , may this be their day osf salvation..in Jesus precious name i pray and for his sake,Amen..

Almost persuaded now to believe;
Almost persuaded Christ to receive;
Seems now some soul to say,
Go, Spirit, go Thy way,
Some more convenient day
On Thee I'll call.
Almost persuaded, come, come today;
Almost persuaded, turn not away;
Jesus invites you here,
Angels are lingering near
Prayers rise from hearts so dear;
O wanderer, come!
Almost persuaded, harvest is past!
Almost persuaded, doom comes at last!
Almost cannot avail;
Almost is but to fail!
Sad, sad, that bitter wail,
Almost, but lost!
