Default Sunday's Sermonette
Good morning all.. "This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it."
Each morning i sit in the den and read the paper and as i look out the window i see the squirrels chasing each other around the tree tops and see the dove, wrens, redbirds and bluejays eating from the feeder and then flitting down to the bird bath for a drink and their morning bath..I see the great oak and elm trees coming alive with new leaves and the orange tree with it's beautiful fragrant blosoms turning white as snow..then i realize, God created all of this for us to enjoy while we are here on this old earth and then He went on to prepare a place in Heaven where those who put their trust in him and are born again can spend eternity with him..What a wonderful Saviour.

Dear heavenly Father i thank you this morning for all you have done for us and i pray that we will be worthy..Father we pray for the sick and afflicted and those who have spiritual needs, may they be met today..we thank you in Jesus precious name, AMEN..

"1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5For every man shall bear his own burden galatians 6:1-5 kjv.

We each need to learn the truths that come from Scripture and no where is is this apparent as in the Epistles of Paul. We need to learn how to bring one back from the edge and help them to get back on the correct path. There is a need for firmness, but also for compassion for the fallen brother or sister. David, the King of Israel, should be someone we are very acquainted with, but also very sobering for us who have called upon the Name of Jesus as Lord and Savior. We are never more than one moment from doing something that would dishonor God and His Name. We need to learn this truth and then make sure that we have compassion for others as one day we might be the one in need of that compassion. As you read the Scripture, we are to help those who have burdens, but make sure that the burden is something that we can truly help with. I'm afraid sometimes we try to help people when we are not qualified..oh yes, we need to show them love and encouage them but you know that may be all we are able to do.. More the non-believer, one must cross over before we can truly help one with their burdens. Salvation is something that each of us must handle alone and with God as the Spirit works within our heart. I can not carry the burden of your salvation, but I can help you to more clearly see the need for Jesus within your life. Allow the Spirit of God to direct your paths and open His Word to what He has for you. Have a great week-end and tell someone about Jesus..

Father thank you for your Word and may it burden our hearts and lead us to helping others.. and Father if there is one here today that is lost and without a Saviour may this be theit day of salvation..in Jesus name and for his sake i pray. Amen..

Days are filled with sorrow and care,
Hearts are lonely and drear;
Burdens are lifted at Calvary,
Jesus is very near.
Chorus
Burdens are lifted at Calvary,
Calvary, Calvary,
Burdens are lifted at Calvary,
Jesus is very near.
Cast your care on Jesus today,
Leave your worry and fear;
Burdens are lifted at Calvary,
Jesus is very near.
Chorus
.
Troubled soul, the Saviour can see,
Ev'ry heartache and tear;
Burdens are lifted at Calvary
Jesus is very near.
Chorus
