Concerning temptation

Thank you Chuck. Temptation and giving into sin is a life destroyer, marriage destroyer, church destroyer. Some of my most frustrating days since my salvation is seeing the people around me giving into temptation and people tempting others. I know I am not without sin, but to see these things is painful to me. I do remember when it wouldn't bother me to see things, and I might even join in. Now, I feel pain and heartache about the way that I was. Chuck, you are a comfort to me in that I know that someone else out there faces and admits to facing temptation.

Sometimes I get the feeling that people post about what is going on in their lives regarding temptation asmeans to brag upon themselves. I do feel that winning the battle against temptation is a good accomplishment, but I do think that people should be humble about it.

I think you are a humble man, fighting everyday like I do with the worldly things around us. Somedays I can't wait to wake up and enjoy what God has given me, and other days I can't wait to leave this place.

Your compliment is very nice BUT biblical speaking Jesus said to "Call no man good for there is only one that is good and that is God. " Trust me...I'm just like the rest of us...growing through trial and error...and saved by grace.
