Default unfeigned love of the brethren

Dear brothers,
So often I see condescending remarks..Jesus siad if you have ought one with another to go to this brother alone..Matthew 18 through PM if you will.I can tell you I do not reply to ..

a. rude remarks
b. folks who have copied and pasted PMs or phone conversations. publically on here.

My dear brothers , I have made condescending remarks in the past under the guiseof admonition, rebuking, exhorting etc. I was wrong and sincerely apologize. Again, embarrassing a brother publically is carnal. If you have a problem..PM that person..that usually takes care of the problem.

Let's do it God's way..Let's be Christ like. God has been teaching me alot here lately and I can assure you none of you will be belittled by me publically again. And if you choose to belittle me..that's between you and God..but I will not reply.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Jesus OUR Lord.

This does not allways work. I don't want to kill someone when I am at war, Then again, I don't want them to kill me. So it comes down to me or them. Do to them before they do to you then applys.

Giving direction in an area that one has already made part of an open discussion is certainly not belittling.Setting ones self up as infallible or incapable of the same failure is belittling and evidence of pride and or self deceit.Repeating in public, what has been only made manifest in private is belittling and a betrayal. What you perceive as belittling may be due to other factors.

Georgepoker..

This philosophy is acceptable to those who are not Christians ,,,it is unacceptable to Christains. We are supposedto be known by our love , kindnessandpatience with one another. This is supposed to be how we are different from the world. This agape love is what is supposedto draw all men to Christ.

Chuck, Even you would do onto another before they do unto you or yourfamily. Would you not? This philosophy has to apply to all christians when their life is being threatened. There is a line to be drawn when ones life is endanger. But, for verbal, Yes, I do agree. But whens it's either you orthem in a life threatening situation? Do to them before they do to you. I am a christian and believe that philosophy when my family or I am going to be killed by another. If this was the case, Why would christians have guns for protection if they didn't plan on useing it for just that? So I guess there are not to many real christians then. Is it not a sin to stand by and let someone get murdered also if you could save them? Are you not doing to them before they do to another if you shoot someone? Like I said, There is a line drawn for verbal unto and physical harm unto.

I love all my brothers in Christ, but I can still disagree with them and be as tactful as need be. Jesus scolded his disciples many times. I'm not saying that I'm Jesus and your my disciples, I'm simply use that for example.

The point of being rude and disrespectful to an individual as a personal attack, I agree, this should not be tolerated.

Well you know a lot of folks believe there's gonna be a judgment day somewhere down the road and we're all gonna have to answer for the way we lived our lives.

Well ok, but it seems to me there's a powerful tendency for some of us to forget just Who the Judge is supposed to be.

I don't know much but I know it ain't gonna be me, so I'm not gonna start practicing up for the job.

Ecclesiastes 5:1-2

Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter [any] thing before God: for God [is] in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

Lamentations 3:40

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.

good word chuck, and great replies
