these kind of discussion are rarely productive, because we have already formed our beliefs.

That article is about as nonsensical as a native in the outback stumbling across a radio, and trying to explain where the voices are coming from, with no comprehension of electricity or radio frequencies. Man approaching spiritual matters in this manner is down right laughable and silly. Why would they expect anyone to take this seriously. BTW, there figure of 15% of the general public believing in God, which they say is also the number of scientists, is absolutely as ridiculous as their whole premise. This sounds like something fabricated on the Daily Show or MTV! They have just parrotted what has been around for quite a while, and is no news at all. Skeptics, atheists, agnostics are nothing new. this is just a barely cogniscent attempt at explaining away what hey can't possibly understand---and don't want to have to accept. More man wanting to be his own 'god'--an end unto himself.

Thought the title wasdumb soI didn't bother reading the article.

Science doesn't involve faith.

Science involves the analysis of findings and comparison with other findings in an attempt to answer questions about how the world works.

Actually, I think science and faith agree. Scientists may not, but science does.
