Undercover Believers ?

I visited a Church Last Night, I was invited by the Pastor whom I met casually.[/align]I sat there and listened to the gospel preached in a very simple form after listening to an hour of Jokes and things like that.[/align]This guy trying to Immintate DuPlantis.[/align][/align]then He asked anyone wanting to accept Christ to lift up their hand, no one did he continue to ask and finally said ,am going to ask the whole congreagtion to vow your heads and pray with eyes closed, I feel there are people here who want to come to Christ but do not want to be embarrased by people looking at them.[/align]so people did vow their heads and yet no one answer the altar call.[/align]In Your Opinion how was this pastor wrong ?[/align]Is this biblical ?[/align]

That's different from anything I've seen. Many times people just aren't ready or not yet moved by the Holy Spirit. Having everybody bow their heads to pray so people wouldn't be seen coming forward to receive Christ seems kind of odd and not in keeping with anything I've seen in the bible. Having people pray for people to accept Christ and come forward would be more in keeping with the bible and what I would expect. JMHO here.

Great point! There's NO place in the Bible where the "sinner's prayer" is even taught.And if if isn't in God's Word, it is not God's Word.

So whose is it?
